I've been trying to get onto either of the TG 2142 servers, and whenever I click connect I get the 'Your connection to the server has been lost' message. I don't have Northern Strike, but they were both running Conquest when I tried to join. It's pretty annoying, and I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems, or knows how to fix them?

Edit: The server had people on, it said 47 out of 52. I'm gonna go try again to see if it works.

You are not a supporting member, therefor you do not have a reserved slot. You will have to try to join when the server is not full. The server may not display as full even though it actually is. EA is dumb like that.

Isn't that the reserved slot script and not EA? I understood that the scripted kicked in at 62 of 64 slots (or about 2 less than whatever the maximum number is) to keep open slots for SM's to join.

The script is not EA controlled, but the display of how many players are on the server is. My game has shown our server to have only 17 members for about the past month, regardless of when I try to connect.. EA just has borked interface.

Sometiems the server will fill up with two non-SM people trying to join and all slots will be full until the script can process the last who non-SM's who joined and remove them.

Right. Your favorites list does not refresh and that is really dumb. I ussually log off and then back in to BF to get an updated count.

I usually just keep trying until i get in. Also i used to get the Connection Lost error message the first time i tried to log onto a server after booting up the game, regardless of server and open spots. Might be relevant?

Ahhh.. that makes sense. I've never had the problem being an SM but I know what your are talking about now.. yeah.. Fav's don't update. I check the 'server status' at TG when I want to know what's going on.. never reallt paid attention that the EA BF2 status never updates.
