Its actually only for about 30 seconds or so, but quite a long time and way longer than you'd ever need.

Rockets are most effective while being air bursted.

Never go prone, its only there to make funny movies or goofy jumps.

The AT weapons will still give a lock on warning even when not scoped in.

The gunship shields are more a graphical representation of something you wish was there.

Every time you are revived, you face directly north; if you can figure that out in relation to the buildings you're near, you may be able to get to cover a split second quicker.

Just be aware that while hovering you are incredibly vulnerable. It can be useful, but its a lot safer to just fiddle with the W key to keep yourself flying level.

Rockets won't explode when they hit objects closer than 20 meters. If you right click to go to the scope with the rockets, you can then use the mouse wheel to change the distance at which the rocket will explode. It will automatically start at the distance of whatever you are pointing at. If you are pointing at the sky or at something closer than 20 m, it will say 20 m, but will not explode when shot, even if you move it and point at something farther away.

1. You can pick up tons of different pieces of equipment you've dropped and kits by using the "G" key.

2. The Walker can crouch, too. Hit the prone key or "Z" and you can hide the walker behind buildings, or cover your weak point.

3. All armor has a weakness, it's almost always in the rear. Always aim for the vents.

4. The following unlocks are the necessary items you are going to need in your first few promotions, and this is probably a good order to do them in : Defibrillator > Frag Grenade > Emp Grenade > Support Net Bat > Sentry Gun > EMP Mine > Dystek Repair Gun > Motion Mine > RDX > APM. This will give you a very solid, rounded-out skill set in each of your kits, and will allow you to attack/defend capably.

5. When in Armor, and you hear a load "beeping" noise, hit the "X" key. This will raise your active defense for that piece of armor, blocking all incoming projectiles. The "Beeping" noise is another player targetting you. Watch for what side the projectile hit you from, and make sure when they stick their head out for another shot, you take them out.

6. When you see black balls on the ground in armor, stop moving. They are motion mines and will destroy you. However, if you do not move, they will not hurt you. Eventually, even with you there, they will time out and disappear.

7. Make sure you read the server's rules when you load in, It will keep you from getting banned, and also tell you if the server's play style matches your own.

Is it true that EMP's disrupt communication with your squad using the 'V' button. If that's the case it's good to know.

It just messes with in game stuff. Vehicles, IDS, SL drone, your vision and the HUD/minimap are affected, but the VOIP is unaffected.

APC mortar is ueless aginst heavy armor.

The gunship gunner has a TV missile.

The Pac tank is better cause it can strafe behind the enemy.

Only hover in gunships when youre in lose combat. You can always just leave the close range too.

Dont complain about the start time on TG servers, others are smarter than you and need to plan the game.

Join TG.

Max out you sound quality, helps quite a bit.

The right (or was it left?) transport turret doesn't work.

You can fly a Transport through a titan shield.

Your gunship gun doesn't damage the titan.

You cant revive with the MedHub

I believe it is the right gun on the EU transport.

Actually I believe it is indefinitely, I've held on to a grenade for a very long time, but I do know it's definitely longer than 30 seconds:

1:44 - 2:18 34 seconds. I know I was holding it longer than that, but it's all I posted in the video.

Either he was brand new or he was a total idiot. Just a question, what did you say back?

Advice bit:

1.) Always stay on the move

2.) Follow orders

3.) You are not Rambo, selecting support just so you can rush in with an MG blazing is not the best idea.

4.) Get good with your pistol/SMG, it will save your ass if you run out of ammo and have no time to reload in a firefight.

5.) That "Q" button in the top left corner of your keyboard is useful, spot targets.

6.) Don't take Recon if you are not good at it, and especially don't use the sniper rifles if you have no idea what you are doing, or if you know that you will be going into CQC.

7.) Don't be afraid to ask for help if you are in trouble.

8.) Finally, have fun it's a game, the point is to enjoy yourself.

Re: Advice from the Experts: You're talking to someone completely green to 2142...

Always spam smoke grenades everywhere if you have them, get your on personal supply monkey to help with your task of making the map unplayable due to smoke .

Take rockets or herzog unless your me. And in general annoy the other team as much as possible, then they make mistakes.

Bind pistol to the middle mouse button if you don't have anything else there to make pulling when ammo is bye bye easier.

Never, ever annoy Crux or Reaper if one of them is your SL . And in general never disobey an SL on purpose, remember kicking people is ever so easy. Never be afraid to ask an SL to reissue orders. Also never be afraid to say 'we're about to lose X' etc. Also when your an SL advice CO if you see something fishy. Obey the chain of command in short I suppose.

Realise if you start playing TG you will never be able to stop (this is probably the most important). Oh and don't be a smacktard.
