Almost forgot the most important tidbit anyone could ever need.

Do not get in an FAV with either 1) Lorax as the driver or 2) Draeh anywhere near the vehicle. The two of us combine for some seriously bad FAV mojo.

Don't aim when you and an enemy are in a close up rifle fight- spray and pray instead. Other than that, always aim.

Daithi tips Mark II:

-Do not, I repeat do not accuse a TG tag wearer of Glitching, Aimbots etc. unless you have enough evidence to prove it to the admins. We will laugh at you in TS . I felt so proud when someone accused me of using an aimbot in in-game chat.

-About the Crux thing just be afraid, very afraid. No one knows what goes on in those 3rd forums. Although when reaper is in a tag mood = very easy to kill (did I just say that).

-Never ever question orders if they seem semi-important (needs repeating). The second most annoying thing an SL can hear when making a quick, snap decision is 'That's a stupid idea'. The first being 'back-seat' SLing.

Imagine an episode of sex in the city crossed with the level of gossip mongering in your local junior high.

I actually have to refute that. I always scope and crouch. I'd wager that I win 75-80% of the CQC battles this way. There are always times when spraying is a necessary evil.

Indeed spray and pray is a no no. it really drops your aim and burst to the legs or head at close range from a crouch and scope is very nice

and when I am in a tag mood you better be scared because I will get you and you will die a slow, cold, lonely death because your windpipe doesn't work so well any more

-You can't pull your parachute until you can hear the air rushing by you

-If you see 6 guys of the opposite team spawn on a flag out of nowhere and you die, and it says someone from the 3rd killed you, start praying.

-Every chance you get to take a shot at Crux or Reapper, take it, they come far and few!!

I dunno about that but an easier way is when your gun disappears (well you know what I mean).

If you are killed BY ANY IHS MEMBER then get revived and die again by a different member of the same squad then start cying because there is at least one full IHS squad fighting aginst your team(but pray there is only one, more then one and you can kiss the rest of your tickets good bye. Has happened more then once to me and the squads I create.)

I think I may have been misleading in my use of words.

That's a good idea, but I think you mean normal CQC, like the firefights that go on in Central Camp in Camp Gib, and I'm talking about when the enemy just sprang up behind you and started firing, at a distance you can score a knife kill- and to help you visualize how close it would be here's this.

You- ">"
Him- "<"
>.< That period is how close you two are, say about 2 meters.

Crouching and scoping when in a knife-distance rifle fight is not a very good idea IMO because it makes you slower to turn and return fire, and that will probably kill you because the enemy is circle strafing you faster than you can turn and fire at his location while crouched in and scoped. But if you do spray, you have a higher chance of hitting the enemy because not only are you moving at around the same speed he is, but your shots are more likely to hit him at this distance. I don't spray if I can help it, and always use the scope practically 99% of the time. But I win roughly 85% of the fights that occur in situations like these because of my method, and I have been using this for a while.

Other than in situations like these, don't ever spray.

I will jump out of a vehicle if it is on fire and there aren't any engineers around to repair it, either friendly or enemy. Normally it's exploded by the time I've checked to see, though.
