Except Battlewalkers.

If it drops below 15 or so health points, the gyro will fail and the walker will fall over if you try to walk around with it - whether you repair it or not. You can always stand in place and try to get s'more kills from it, but you're SOL as soon as you fall under attack. When things like that happen, I prefer to demolish the walker as I leave.

Re: Advice from the Experts: You're talking to someone completely green to 2142...

Good tips guys,

* Even if you have a good video card, turn off your shadows in game, makes seeing people easier.

* When using rockets to take out people behind cover, zoom in, find your mark, and then double tap your zoom you re-adjust your distance, one click of the middle mouse will set a distance to kill anyone behind a wall.

* Place your mouse roughly over the targets head before zooming in.

* Use your mini map !

* If your dead call it out and your general location.

* It's not who kills more, but who revives less that decides most matches.

* Sprint unlocks are the single best investments you can make.

* When firing any weapon not on single shot, burst fire is key, the farther the target is away from you the shorter your burts have to be (and vise versa).

* If you die and your SL dies before you can spawn in, wait for them to respawn before you spawn in (unless told otherwise by your SL).

Re: Advice from the Experts: You're talking to someone completely green to 2142...

* If you're in a piece of armour then ALWAYS be on the move, it's nearly impossible for enemy CO's to EMP+Strike you, do safe circuits or roll side to side or forwards and backwards.

* If the driver jumps out to repair the armour DON'T jump into the driver's seat and drive away, you may jump in to cover him/her but when the repair is nearing completion then jump back to the gunner's position. If you do drive off with my vehicle, I know that TK's are strictly forbidden in TG my my fingers sometimes slip.

* Don't SL in armour unless you're just a passenger along for the ride - leave that to your squad mates.

* If you see a supply-drop near a piece of enemy armour kill the supplies FIRST then go for the armour.

* If you sustain ANY damage in armour (even 10%) retreat as soon as is safely possible to repair otherwise you'll be wishing that you had just another 10% left as you're waiting to respawn.

* If you're an engineer specialist then go on empty servers to practice FAV runs - getting past the wreck at Roadblock on Carebear is a great test of your abilities.

* As an Engineer don't fire on enemy infantry from long distances with your secondary weapon, it alerts them to your presence which can have a painful ending.

* Know your role within a squad and your kit's limits - trying to expand beyond it's limits is foolish, always consider yourself a target even when you think you're alone.

* Your squad mates are a privilage not a right - do not put yourself in a position where they need to put their life on the line to revive you.

*While flying you can hold Ctrl to look around. Which can be useful if you need to quickly glance to the side when you have the very freaky feeling that you are about to be rammed.
