Hey mate, this forum's for BF2142 discussion. This thread has nothing to do with BF2142 and it's an advertising thread. Furthermore, it's an advertising thread for another thread you made.
I don't mean to be a jerk but can you be any more tactless?

Not only that, you clearly state in the thread that you dislike BF2142, yet you write this thread's title as "coming back after an extended leave". This is just blatant trolling in my opinion.

I would have siad something in your defense, but after you post that you don't like 2142 I can't. Why post here if you don't like the game?

Re: Hey guy, Coming back from extended retirement

Never said I didn't like the game. I said I don't like rockets, I am not sure exactly where in there did you see that. I like the game just fine. I had some personal issues and had to drop every game I was playing at the time.

As some of the guys that know me from the 9th, I stopped playing gradually, and the last game I ever played was a rocket fest orgasm.

About linking to another thread I just didn't feel like been redundant and reposting the same thing again.

Now as to having anything to do with 2142, this is the 2142 General Discussion I am pretty sure I mentioned that I might be coming back to 2142 at some point, that makes it a discussion generally related to 2142.

If you need any more information, I still have another 10 page discussion written in blood that I will be happy to provide you with.

Re: Hey guy, Coming back from extended retirement

Well, it was probably the "rocket fest" then "it was part of reason I stopped playing" also the "I hate rockets" written three times in your sig that would make someone think you don't like 2142. I mean, if you hated the rocket fest enough to stop playing you must not like the game.

I'm running a rocket free scrim if you would like to play a couple rounds of 2142 with no rockets at all. Other than that, yes, 2142 is still a mainly rocket game. The shotgun has made a comeback though and if you fight in the right places you can reduce the amount of rocket spamage you have to deal with.

Guys! Give Yoyi a break and welcome him back! He's an outstanding TGer with a bit of rocket trauma.

Hey Yoyi,
If rockets are your biggest issue, I might suggest looking into ClanMod...there's a post somewhere around here. Basically, all kits are limited to Tier 1 unlocks only, soooo... no rockets!

Re: Hey guy, Coming back from extended retirement

I was talking to Lorax abuot that over pms. I am liking the sound of that mod.

I am dusting off my BF2142 cds after having fished them out of the unpacked box they have been sitting on for months.

I am actually looking forward to seen whats been going on in the game.

I hear the 9th is keeping it in small games 5v5 -12v12 tops. That sounds pretty good to me.

Re: Hey guy, Coming back from extended retirement

The small team play is scrim and league play, not to be confused with the TG conquest server. We still run on that as well, just wanted to clarify.

P.S. Nice to see your sig hasn't changed much...

Hey Yogi...er...yoyi....

Nice to see a fellow x-9th. I hope you do return even though the rockets can be hellish.

Re: Hey guy, Coming back from extended retirement

Hey Yoyi, I was wondering...what's your take on the rockets in 2142???

Hope to see you around the server and as Mach mentioned, please sign up for the rocket-free 8th sponsored scrimmage this coming Friday. It should be a great time.
