Heh that reminds me of the one time I was playing as a sniper in Cerbere Landing. Lolz, I camped the church for the entire round, one shotting left and right, as soon as a guy would get revived, BAM BAM, pop em both. Racked up about sixty kills, it was rocking!

....Oh wait. xD

Re: Quality of Gameplay

As with any game, there will be times where you're having the best time ever, and times where you're getting pissed off at every turn. BF 2142 is no different than any game you may or may not have played in the past. Furthermore, sometimes certain gameplay mechanics like sniping or the PK-rockets make the game unbalanced for a certain side, which can always be remedied by a change in play style or tactics (to combat snipers get closer or revive to keep troops alive, for rockets you quit clumping together and fire rockets back in separate intervals to increase pressure). This will also apply to BF2, if you're considering that game.

Stick with it and you'll come out on top. Don't just give up just because of one night (or a few) of uninspired rounds. Or just do what I do and snipe at people from 30 meters out with a Clark shotty. BLAM!!!

Re: Quality of Gameplay

Sometimes just take a break. Today I was getting waxed repeatedly by some people I hadn't seen before. Pistol kills at 35 meters, losing Voss Duels etc etc etc. One guy in particular rocketed me at a dead run with direct hits 3 times one game. Each time from a good distance where I had no idea he was firing till I was dead. Got really steamed. So I logged out. Not because they were too good but because when I get mad I make bad choices tactically. In those conditions beating your head against a wall just makes it worse.

I've often done this but it can also be fun to take a squad next round and do something completely different. E.g. Take hold a flag forever kind if thing. Or run round in FAVs flag hopping just change it up and you'll often see results. Try commanding maybe. I find the game varied enough that if you hate what your doing now next round you can be on fire.
