Ban?

Was playing today on your BF2142 server, and for absolutely no reason i got banned. I wasnt team killing or bunny hopping. I was in a squad and I was second in scoring on my team. I dont get it. I play on your server all the time and i always play by the rules. Would be nice if you lifted that ban, i was actually going to donate to your server. Please lift that ban.

Re: Ban?

We do not discuss bans in the public forum. Please start a thread in the 2142 contact an admin forum and I will speak with you then. Thanks

Rogue, you might want to post this here:

http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...contact-admin/

I know in my experience (before becoming a supporting member,) I thought I was banned from the server - when it actually turned out to be just kick scripts dropping me for a supporting member. When one joins, the non-supporting player who has been on the longest is kicked.

However, if you were banned for a specific reason (such as TK's, bunnyhopping, hacking, pod surfing, etc,) you can appeal it by posting in the Contact An Admin forum or by PM'ing one of our BF2142 admins.

The following list contains the active 2142 admins. However, you may contact any of the Battlefield Series admins for queries.

* Eroak
* Crux
* Zoraster
* Damonte
* Pfeil2281
* Lorax
* Augustus Gloop
* rage4order
* Tempus

You can send direct PM's to an admin by going to this thread:
http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...dmin-list.html

Please don't take it to heart, man. We don't often ban someone, and it's usually after a kick - and seriously thought about before hand. Don't let it discourage you - please come back.

Nope, no one's going to contact you, unfortunately. You might want to introduce yourself in this thread, though :
http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...rop-hi-55.html

Also, if you're not wearing the lTGl tags, you can do so by going to My Documents > Battlefield 2142 > Profiles > Global and then paste this in:

"|TG|"

With the quotations where it says "GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix".

Other than that, you're set. The server will recognize you as a supporting member in a few minutes. Keep in mind, though, only our second server (TacticalGamer.com Conquest 2) has supporting member kick scripts on it right now. So the majority of supporting members play there.

All you have to do from here is squad up, follow orders, and WIN. Also, make sure you bring your mic along - as we love it when people use VOIP. Just get a feel for how we do things, and you'll be fine, man.

Welcome to TG!

Don't forget to put your Player ID in the User CP section, or else it won't recognize you (I think).

Totally true and a very important last step to make - one that's overlooked a lot.
