Re: What does it mean to you to wear the |TG| tag?
Wearing the |TG| tags means great responsibility. As a member of this community and some one who is wearing the tags i am representing this community and his members. I am a teacher on the battlefield for the new people and a student while listening to the older once. While wearing these tags i also stay for the SOPs and Rules which where made to hold all this together. The tags representing tactic and teamplay, fun and seriousness, friends and a place where are like-minded people. These all are TG and TG is all this.
While wearing the tags i am all of this... I am TG

Re: What does it mean to you to wear the |TG| tag?
Wearing the |TG| tags to me means that there is a higher standard upon you, not to play the game with a higher skill, but to play smart. To follow orders for the better of the whole, not just myself. |TG| tags are also a representation of the community of players who just enjoy playing each other and playing with each other. I'm proud to be a member.

Re: What does it mean to you to wear the |TG| tag?
For me, wearing the |TG| tags (properly! use the pipes!!!) means that I cannot act however I want, and need to uphold myself to a higher set of standards, that I need to act with maturity, and respect all other players. Wearing the tags is like accepting an unwritten contract. (if you want the written version, see Gentlemen's Agreement)
Unfourtunately, I've been seeing lateley that, not so much in 2142, but in some of the Battlefield games, people wearing the |TG| tag do not follow the primer, or even have the slightest idea of what maturity means.

Re: What does it mean to you to wear the |TG| tag?
BF2 was my first ever online shooter, I read the reviews, thought it sounded good, jumped in to a server and was dismayed at the lack of teamwork and just general randomness of it all.
Searched the net and found a Tour of Duty site, signed up and played unranked servers in a campaign. Somewhere or other I saw a banner or sig for TG and took a look.
I wouldn't dream of playing an online shooter any other way than the TG way, doing so just seems nuts!
I did wear my |TG| tags with pride and later my |TG-E1st| tags with even more pride.
I've been away from the Battlefield for a while, and at the moment feel like a complete noob again (and to be honest I am - I just looked at my stats I only seem to have 3 days of BF2142 under my belt).
Once I'm back in the swing of things and I don't feel such a muppet again, I'll wear my |TG| tags with pride - at the moment I'm untagged as I wouldn't want to feel I was letting anyone down.
Pity the fool who looks at me and thinks I know what I'm doing, I can follow orders though

Re: What does it mean to you to wear the |TG| tag?
When I put on the tags I know it means I can't do anything that might harm the TG standard, like when on a pub sever I know I must not Jihad no matter how much fun (in my eyes) it is. Holding up the TG standard is the most important thing to me in gaming.

I bump that to also remind people that the tags mean a lot for many of us. So please make sure you can represent the rules and the conduct TG is representing when you add the tags to your name.

Re: What does it mean to you to wear the |TG| tag?
It might be sticky-able.
New players looking to add the |TG| tag can learn alot just by reading the first post..
and quickly answer the question, "Can I wear the |TG| tag?"
Really, Rage4Order said everything that needed to be said.Without teamwork, you'll never survive.

Re: What does it mean to you to wear the |TG| tag?
Although still technically an outsider, I look up to you guys who wear the |TG| tags because of your commitment to leadership, teamwork, and being professional, both in virtual combat and in how you act. Yes, there have been times I've had issues with the conduct of some TGers here on the forums and in BF2142, but, for the most part, the TG experience has been very positive and so far my expectations for the TG community in general have not been let down.
Unfortunately, though, I don't think I'll become a full member or wear the tags just yet, largely because I have to live with a slower-than-molasses DSL connection for most of the next nine months out of the year. =(

Re: What does it mean to you to wear the |TG| tag?
Wearing |TG| tags is largely a personal choice, a public announcement that you will hold yourself to a higher standard.
I consider you a TGer even without the tags.Without teamwork, you'll never survive.
Without betrayal you'll never win.

But when I look ahead up the white road
There is always another one walking beside you
Gliding wrapt in a brown mantle, hooded
I do not know whether a man or a woman
- But who is that on the other side of you?
