PsychoHorse can't talk for a while

If any of you remeber me saying in Viop that my mic broke and wanted to make sure I could be heard, it finally stopped working.
I was playing on a server with a guy in my squad saying he couldn't hear me. I went into my options later to perform a sound check and nothing but static. That being said, I will keep playing TG and might steal my brother's headphones once in a while....just be sure not to get mad at me if I don't talk to you.

*Update* I asked my brother and he agreed to let me use his mic when I play 2142, so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Until I get mine fixed or buy a new pair.

get yourself a usb mic. Thats what I did, I always had trouble with my laptop mic/plugin. Never could get a mic working properly all the time. The usb one has never given me any trouble though.

I also recommend a USB mic, I have USB headphones with a mic but they were always too loud. If I turned the settings so people could hear me they were to quiet etc etc. THe desktop mic has worked very well.
