Re: Password Night, coming (very) soon to a server near you! (password = teamwork)
Well tonight worked out real nice for me... though I rarely have time for the forums, as the spare time I get is spent gaming... But to my luck I happened to hop on tonight right as you guys were starting... thought maybe it was a match or something, check the forums, hop on teamspeak, and was happy to see this post.
![]() I had a lot of fun, always have up the ante when playing VS pure TG... Good times! Aside from the occasional slip on a bunny hop or two, one of them being me ... ( sorry, bad habit when planting motion mines to throw them further < )I was wondering was there ever a sequel to the TG titan scrim ? Back in, ohhh Novemberish I think ? That was kickass.

Re: Password Night, coming (very) soon to a server near you! (password = teamwork)
I had a blast tonight. The level of play was SUPER high and the level of camaraderie was fantastic. Thanks to everyone that I squaded up with tonight.
I ended up volunteering at the last moment as Commander for two Gibby rounds. Apologies for the quality... I don't Command all that often. Regardless I naturally take full credit for the first round where our PAC forces basked in glorious victory :-D Conversely I accept no blame whatsoever for the desperate struggle to not get capped out as EU :-P In all seriousness those were two of the most fun rounds Commanding ever. Squad leaders followed orders and gave great suggestions as well. I wish I could have been in Teamspeak too but I have sound card conflicts when I do that and then my squad level VoIP stops working :-( Thanks again to all who played and to the admins who set it up. -Zot

Awesome fights!
But the higher level of play leads to more revives and longer gameplay anyway. Shouldnt need the buttload of tickets unless we do a 16 player map only thingy. Also since we got heavy admin power that night should do only 1 round of the maps it makes sense on to get more maps in during prime password time |

Re: Password Night, coming (very) soon to a server near you! (password = teamwork)
Please, lets never, ever do a round of Camp Gib where PAC starts with 495 tickets. Its a long fragfest already, with that amount of tickets its just insane.
I'd like to see something set up where the revive window is 10 or 15 seconds and the death time is 20 to 25. With shorter revive windows and longer death times, getting good revives becomes more important, potentially encouraging better teamplay.

Better yet, how about NO Camp Gib?

Re: Password Night, coming (very) soon to a server near you! (password = teamwork)
Some thoughts about the password night:
1. The default ticket count is perfect: I felt some of the rounds last night were too long. 2. Regarding the revive counter: it was was absolutely perfect. I recommend we keep it at 20 for all future TG events. Five seconds seems like a small change but I assure you: it felt huge last night. 3. Can we take Camp Gibraltar out of the rotation please? There isn't a whole lot of strategies to be tried on that map, and I'm not a very big fan of stalemates.

Good games last night but I don't think we needed the extra tickets. I started Gib at 2.30 and at 3 everyone was only down to 350ish tickets so I had to throw in the towel. Also I'm not quite so sue about the extra downtime. During ALL of that downtime you can be revived, it would make sense if you could be revived for the normal 12 seconds (could be 15 I don't know) and then dead for the remaining time. Can that be set up? Kudos to Lorax for organising it was great craic.

Cheers to Lorax for setting up password night! We all had a great time.

All the good things happen when I leave for a week. Any plans for one next week?

Re: Password Night, coming (very) soon to a server near you! (password = teamwork)
I had a blast last night for the few rounds I played, but I had to leave early because my voip wasn't working
(even though I knew it wasn't working I kept pressing V and talking away!!) ![]() Eventually it just became too big of a pain in the .... Hopefully all will be sorted for the next time! ![]()

Re: Password Night, coming (very) soon to a server near you! (password = teamwork)
Great time last night. Hopefully this will become a standard of Friday Nights. It was really good to play with the lot of you...yes even you Lyra. Anyone know what gets tire marks out of your legs?????

Radar Grenades remove tire marks efficiently as well as cure cancer, sooth your baby and capture flags by themself.
