It was definitely a blast last night... even if there were a few reports of bunny hopping.
I would agree with those few others that the default ticket count should be left in place and the respawn timer left at 20 seconds. Thanks to the admins (Lorax and company) and everyone involved, even those that played for making it a big success!

I agree with those who thought that the ticket count was too high. i think it would have been fine on the head-to-head maps if we had only played one round, but with two, it seemed to go on a little long. On assault maps, I think it might tend to alter the balance too much in favor of the attackers.
I kind of liked the 20 second man down timer. Theoretically, it makes it easier to assault a fixed position because the biggest advantage a defending team has is that they spawn very near the flag they're defending when they get wiped out, but an assault team has to go back to the end of the line to start a new assault. Adding the 5 seconds makes it so that (1) it takes longer for defenders to get back into the fray unless revived and (2) it gives people 5 seconds longer to get their squad leader up again if he goes down, potentially saving an assault. I only was able to play the first two maps (Tunis 16p as we were filling it and Belgrade), but I think we did see this to some degree. Eventually we got so many players that assaulting anything was difficult, but squad on squad, it evened it out for the attacking team a little bit. I'd be curious to know how it played out on Camp Gibraltar (which I agree maybe isn't the best map to be played). --- In any case, Lorax deserves the praise for organizing this, and I deserve the blame for the high ticket counts. |

Just wanted to say thanks for letting me play and I hope I did not make too much of a fool of myself, I eventually had to leave as I was getting a lot of lag mainly due to pc issues, and when you get that lag it really affects your gameplay(im not using that as an excuse), anyway thanks to all for a great experience and showing me how playing and communicating as a team makes all the difference even if the guy(me) on your 6 is running around like a flamboyant fool.

The up ticket count really dragged on the game. Especially since you run 64 player version of vehicle maps (not sure why you do this).
Luckily the TG server quality is low and the server crashed during Suez, if not those rounds would of lasted well over 4 hours (assuming no cap out of course). |

We are unsure of admin coverage tonight. We MAY have a password night on a spur of the moment if enough TG people are playing.

Close, it's infantry only, 4 vs 4 on Highway Tampa (64 player version), no time limit and 150% tickets. Signups will be posted shortly...
