hey guyz, after reading that quote on wishes to teabag a tank i attempted to make this dream a reality last night.

i blew a tank up right next to me and proceeded to induce the ritual we gamers know and love upon the remnants of its body, while yelling joyously over VOIP about my sucess.

Unfourtunalty thou as i readied myself to depart from the wrekage the tank exploded for the second time and due to a glitch i managed to fly quite a distance from the scene of the crime, it was quite comical.

lesson learned: DO NOT TEABAG POTENTIALY EXPLOSIVE OBJECTS

I take a sharp left and hit the turbo, right before I see two enemy battlewalkers at the other end.

Late to the party, and I'm pretty sure I've told this before but...



Lyra's piloting the walker on Belgrade and I'm in the 2nd seat, we're in a pretty awesome squad with a few members of the 3rd as well. We're attacking (I think it's ruins, the second from the North down flag that's cappable, to the East of Statue). the team had taken Com tower and the crazy, laggy, epicentre of the battle was this flag, we were approaching after flushing out some people trying to get to our own back flags to the South. We were moving with members of th 3rd as we were hit with something that dramatically took down our energy:

Lyra panicking (in wonderful German accent): KILL THE RORSCHES! KILL THE RORSCHES!
[Member of the 3rd who I believe was Reaperassault]: Did you just say kill the Russians?

One earlier from that round, when Lyra actually got into the walker. I was already in it, and Lyra was about to jump in, I pressed F2 to move over and let the master run the show. When Lyra jumped in he was surprised to be the pilot.

Lyra: So why did you move over?
Me: Well I'm not the best walker pilot, plus I get crazy pings here since I'm from England which is really far from the server.
Lyra (Again with that awesome German accent): You think England's far, I'M FROM F***ING GERMANY!!

Queue whole squad of 3rd guys and me to break out into laughter .

Bf2 vanilla playing a round and i'm at the friendly airfield waiting for the attack chopper to spawn and the enemy commander arties the place right where i'm standing and my squad leader says

"RUUNNNN NERD RUNN"

I run thru the entire arty blast and survive with around 2 bars of health left and my SL was laughing as hard as could over the mic. I love running thru arty strikes and living.

In a squad with a couple of TG-IHS members and a couple pubbies (I believe Arithea was the squad leader) on Belgrade. We had a new player join us about midway through the round. Arithea asked him to come in medic. He didn't like the idea, but came in medic, and spent a little while griping about how the squad isn't well-rounded and this and that. So after about 10 minutes or so, I guess he decides to spawn in Engineer.

The squad is ordered to move from playground to monorail, and as we're moving between the buildings, the cry of "Oh, crap, tank!" comes up. Our newest recruit feels very proud of his decision to come in engineer, and announces to the rest of the squad
"It's okay guys, because I ROUNDED OUR SQUAD OUT and CAME IN ENGINEER I will go take out that tank! It's just around that corne--AH! OH CRAP! NO! NO! AHHHHHHH!!! <silence>"

About 5 seconds later, the teamspeak channel erupted in laughter. I'm not sure if it was funnier that he was actually screaming into the microphone, that the tank killed him, or that he stopped saying anything right after he was killed, but it was possibly the funniest thing I've heard playing 2142. He didn't say anything else the rest of the round and came in assault medic.
