About 5 seconds later, the teamspeak channel erupted in laughter. I'm not sure if it was funnier that he was actually screaming into the microphone, that the tank killed him, or that he stopped saying anything right after he was killed, but it was possibly the funniest thing I've heard playing 2142. He didn't say anything else the rest of the round and came in assault medic.

Not the first noob Ari's pwnd I'm sure! Not like me though, how'd you like that pilum to the face eh? *grumbles*.

(... I was in her squad at the time...)

ROFL!! I vaguely remember that, Brit. Knowing me, I didn't feel the need for witty repartee after that decisive tank shot did the talking for me.

And yeah, Gloop absolutely Pilumed me right in the face the other night. While on my team. In my squad. It was awesome.

Remember defending a a silo on SIDI on a pubby server. A gunship did a strafing run and i was an engie on a roof. The guys made their pass and headed to their main. I shot the default rockets and the went in a straight line so a i followed them with the rockets. The were still going straight when they left my field of view so i kept the rockets where i last saw them. I got a flash on my hud and the game told i killed two people.

Next thing on the comms they said :WTF HOW DID THAT ROCKET FOLLOW US ACROSS THE MAP.

Hmmm my other post disapeared. Well I teabag live tanks routinely, and the anger and frustration that comes out of peoples mouths when they are trying to cap a flag from inside a tank only to find they cant cause I'm standing on their tank and thus the flag as well. Hover tanks are hand to stay on but regular tanks I can ride em for miles. #1 cause of death of tank riding is getting killed by a friendly tank. I rode a walker once two. It's not quite as fun cause i can't anoy the driver.

It is possible to teabag a tank, if your in a walker just crouch with it on the tank a couple times after its a smoldering pile of ashes....

Arithea once one-shotted me in a walker at about 60% health in Suez. I was quite shocked, considering we were on the same team.

Also, once in FoB, I created a "quick response" squad dedicated to intercepting enemy squads that manage to slip in through the cracks in EU defense. I had everything planned out, except I managed to overlook one important detail - I was on the PAC side. Oops.

The dumb and ambitious ones are dangerous and I get rid of them. The dumb and lazy ones I give mundane duties. The smart ambitious ones I put on my staff. The smart and lazy ones I make my commanders. When you can't run anymore, you crawl and when you can't do that, you find someone to carry you.
