Map Strategy Discussions
In case you missed the "Calling all commanders" thread and don't know, I've been posting periodic discussion threads in the Tactics and Mission Discussion forum for 2142. Each one focuses on the tactics and overall strategy used for a specific map. Here's the list so far, in chronological order: It is my hope to take the comments from these threads and the ones I will post in the future and turn them into a "popular strategies" section for TacticalWiki. The more viewpoints I get, the more complete each article will be, so don't be shy--throw your ideas out there! If there's a certain capture tactic you've used to good effect every time you've played Cerbere Landing, share it! The community as a whole will benefit from your discussions.
One caveat: I am looking for tactics and strategies that have been tested during conquest play. If you have a really cool idea you think would work, try it out! If it works, post it.
Thanks to all of those who've been posting so far! Keep an eye on the Tactics and Mission Discussion forum for updates.

Re: Map Strategy Discussions
Next post up-- Strategy Discussion: Tunis Harbor
Thanks for the great replies thus far! Keep them coming!
Whoops...realized I forgot the flip side on Fall of Berlin...coming soon. (Probably tomorrow, as I'm trying to do one per day.)
I'm also thinking about doing a general titan strategy discussion and perhaps bringing the Northern Strike maps into the discussion. What do you guys think?
There's also a new thread up for Tiny Tunis, as it needs its own discussion:
Strategy Discussion: Little Tunis

Re: Map Strategy Discussions
Next map: Shuhia Taiba! Yep, I know it's pretty similar to Suez, but just in case anyone has any interesting and different strategies, there it is. Today's map should be a bit more fun, once I get it posted. We're almost through the non-NS maps! Keep up the good info, folks.
Got to today's earlier than I thought I would-- Strategy Discussion: Verdun. It's one of my favorite maps. One more to go...

Re: Map Strategy Discussions
All right, everyone, last strategy discussion posted: Minsk.
I know we don't play much Verdun or Minsk on our conquest servers anymore, but if there's anything you can dredge up from your memory about any size version of the map, please post it.
Again, thanks for all the participation so far! We've got some great material.

Re: Map Strategy Discussions
(x-posted from the tactics forum)
I'll do the NS maps--if we'll have enough participation to have a discussion. It's been a while since we had a Pfrosty Pfriday, so NS isn't too fresh on people's minds.
I might also talk to the admins about having a day where we run some of our less-common maps for a couple of hours simply to give us a bit more discussion fodder.
