To me, that is UCB camping. PAC has no advantages on that map and they have an extremly tough fight just getting to the first flag. As an admin, I would warn and kick for that, yes.

This is my interpretation of the PAC UCB line, if you are EU and to the East of this line and not on an asset destruction run, you are UCB camping.

At the beginning it is not possible (and yes, I've tried) but halfway through a round, if PAC has broken out they forget all about their UCB and it's easier than you would think.

Generally, the furthest back I put mines on Berlin (as EU) is the corner where the road turns into that southern hallway--the one just south of the back of the building right on the Crossroads flag. That way, the PAC's APC and walker can both be brought to bear, but can't advance without mine bait.

Also, remember that just because someone doesn't get in trouble for doing something doesn't mean they were doing things right. Someone might should have reported the other squad near you, as well.

Next time, you might try to get the name of the person reporting you and send them a PM. We all mess up our violation reports, sometimes. However, in this case, I simply think you had a different understanding of how things are supposed to work, and sending a PM to the person who reported you, then checking with the admin team, would be a good way for you to gain an understanding of why your actions were viewed the way they were.

I'm gonna step in and make 2 points. First, no person should ever call out another in our public forums. Please don't ask anyone to confess or apologize publicly.

Secondly, We have a contact an admin forum for questions like this. This should have been posted there if you have a issue with a rule or to clear up a question. We have open door policy and any member here and come and PM us or post about issues. I don't want to draw up negative posts and get people annoyed with each other.

Yh, a little too close, my rule is, If you can shoot at the people in the UCB, even with rockets, it's too close. And Damonte's point about putting mines on that corner is not a rule set in stone here at TG, but considered unsporting.

FYI guys I used what i saw in the other thread as a general reference point for the future.

But part of what pissed me off to such an extent was dude calling my out about my tag in game chat. Fake wannabe ect. Ok lets take the negative point of view. My newb self, with less than 60 game hours, made a mistake. A simple McLovin thats too close stay out of that area ect would have sufficed.

The otherside, that person was mistaken and pretty much just made me, as a representative of this group, look really bad, especially wording it as if i was being malicious.
