That just means they're still selling the game. Fresh meat for you to kill. You should be happy. If he's on the opposite team just ask him to meet you on some hill and you'll show him. Then after you shoot him the first time you say something like "Was that you? Sorry. You scared me!", then the second time just tell him "I thought you were someone else.", and so on, until he catches on and goes read the damn manual.

Or you could just have told him. Either way you would've done a good thing.

Re: It's over. 2142 is finished.

He was on my team. On the n'th match of my evening session.
Where match number n-1 had been plagued by a commander who rammed my battlewalker with an APC, EMPed me, and left me to die at the hands of an enemy tank.
Where match number n-2 saw a commander flying the gunship all round.
And where match number n-3 saw a commander who preferred to spot the lone and harmless infantry lost on the far side of the map, well away from any action, instead of the four-man ambush that had been waiting for me at the silo. And UAV a reinforced and full enemy Titan no one would attack, instead of the silo where an engineer singlehandedly blew up two tanks and an APC without them ever finding out where he was hiding.

The mutiny option was disabled.

All the commanders were Captain rank and above.

I've had a few of those "morale-boosting" series of rounds. It does sap your sense of humor.

Yeah, I was waiting for someone to say that.

That's why I typically stick to the TG server. I'm getting too old and cranky to put up with stupid. Noobs I can live with. Heck, I still hit the V when I meant to hit B. But stupid is hard to get past.

Shurikane,

I'm not sure which scares me most - the thought of what you described (which is why I rarely frequent pub servers anymore, much less Titan), or the fact that you used scientific n notation in doing so.

Who is Bommando? No poster in this thread is named Bommando, and no reference is made to him. How peculiar...

Personally I think we should call in the Ghost Hunters.

Posts appearing and disappearing at will? Sounds like the TG Ghost Hunters need to get involved... I call assault/medic for the squad!
