Discussion: Battlefield 2142 / Battlefield 2142 - General Discussion - Wish you could play a new map once in a while? - Sir. AAK and The Sir. Community ,

in association with Michael Bey,
(not really)
Wednesday (the 19th) and Thursday (the 20th) of this week, about 8pm EST, Tactical Gamer will be guest hosting a play-test scrim of the Sir. community's NEW 2142 MAP. We're going to bring the TG magic to their server, and after some hard use of the map we will be posting all of our thoughts and opinions on their development forums.
Anyone who is interested must sign onto the Sir. Community forums!
Make SURE you sign up with this username: TG_YourInGameName
The good folks at Sir. will get you into their development forum where you will find the instructions to get on their TeamSpeak channel, and onto their server.
The server is up ALL THE TIME now, so get on whenever you can, and let's try to fill it up! I will be meeting you on their TS to help you get set up if you need it.
This is a secret playtest, so please keep the information to yourselves! This could be the start of a beautiful friendship between the artists at Sir. and the elite teamplay at Tactical Gamer!
Please send any questions you have to Augustus Gloop and please, please get to the new map for some testing!

Awesome! I'm glad to see that this has progressed this far! Their new map is tons of fun, and it's truly a treat for us to be invited to play-test with them.

Each time we go to test, everyone will pile into the TeamSpeak. Those of you who do not have the current version will be linked individually whilst in the TS server. No download link will be posted in the forums.
We'll see what times are best for everyone in order to obtain the maximum number of players. The map, if you have it, will be running 24/7 on our server. Feel free to join the server anytime, be it by yourself or with others.

We just need you to sign up in the forums as described above, and check out the posts already there. REMEMBER to get involved in the testing discussion, that's why we're doing all of this!!
Re: Wish you could play a new map once in a while?
Some of us have been testing the map for a while now and it is a lot of fun and has a lot of potential to TG as a community as well as to 2142 as a whole. Remember to be professional while traveling abroad TG'ers and represent us well!! See you all on Wed!
Re: Wish you could play a new map once in a while?
I'd like to remind people who would like to try this new map to please get signed up on the Sir. community forums in advance so they have a chance to get you squared away Wednesday and Thursday.
Re: Wish you could play a new map once in a while?
I want to stress that this is open to non-SM TG the same as everyone else. Get registered on the Sir. Forum per the instructions, and PM me for a copy of the map. Let's get moving!
