Becoming TG?

I hope this isn't too nub of a question to ask but...

How is it that you earn the right to wear the TG tag?

I've been playing the game a while and most of all on your server. I have come to see that the TG are respected and I wanted to find out how it is you become one, if it is even possible.

Good to see you here Graham. TG is a community of gamers focused on maturity, teamwork, and simulation. Anyone is welcome to join -- there is no skill requirement. You may want to start by reading up a bit on what we're about here and then checking out the BF2142-specific rules and announcements here.

If you read and agree with all of it, you are welcome to wear the TG tag. The next step after that would probably be to join us in TeamSpeak -- there's a very simple and straightforward guide on the top menu-bar -- click on Resources->Teamspeak.

Welcome to TG.

(Standard disclaimer: after a few rounds of TG, you'll come to hate all other BF2142 servers. Everyone goes through this, hang in there.)

Just to piggyback on what Zhohar said, when you wear the TG tag you are representing the ENTIRE Tactical Gamer community. But from what I read in your post, you seem like a excellent and mature minded player. That being said, welcome to TG

That right there says you're willing to put forth the effort to be a diligent member of the community.

As everyone else said, make sure you read up on the SOPs, etc. first, then you're welcome to tag up! Welcome to the last server--and community--you'll ever need.

Everyone has pointed you in the right directions but I will pile on the teamspeak bandwagon, it is a great place to get to know the members of the community, great place to get invites into those hard to get into squads and my personal favorite a great place to report problem players and broken rules. Welcome to TG, glad you found us.

What they all said +! The right to wear the TG tag is more of a responsibility. You msut be able to follow our rules, read the SOP's, the Gentlemens' Agreement, and be able to stand up and be proud. Also, remember that for a mere $10.00 per motnh you can be a supporting member and be able to use our server whenever you want!!!!

Seriously, it is very useful.
You don't need to earn the TG tags, you don't need to apply, or be accepted by another member, you just need to check the rules, SOPs, gentlemans agreement and read the primer, and accept them.

Welcome to TG, you'll never play anywhere else again.

Seriously, it's like a drug.

Granted, we appreciate it, and the cash keeps our servers up and running, but it's not a requisite.

However... once one does the "I'll try it for a month..." that month never seems to end.
