First post and props to Zhohar
First of all I'd like to say greetings to everyone I've had the pleasure of playing with on this server. I have a true respect for teamwork and this community has made playing 2142 a true pleasure for me. Perhaps some of you don't like me but that's part of the joy that makes me me.
That said I can't express the joy of playing with you all. Working as part of a effective squad is honestly why I play the game. As such, I felt the need to make my first post about Zhohar. I've been in a lot of squads and had my own but when it comes to leadership and communication he is second to none. Even with a horrid team his orders are obeyed and his tactics solid. Quite honestly he's the best squad leader I've ever had the pleasure to play with. So Zhohar, keep doing what you do and next time you have a closed squad please invite my ass. When treated respectfully I am a hell of a squad member. Again, it's a pleasure to play with people who have a similar belief in conduct and teamwork. |

Wait until he's on the other team and every time you turn a corner, he removes your face with his shotgun-o-death.

Agreed with the original poster. I was playing today had my first experience with being in Zhohar's squad. I gotta hand it to ya man, I wish i could keep people on the move and organized like you doing on Cerbere Landing. Had us running laps between STC and Church on defense!

Re: First post and props to Zhohar
Zhohar has come such a long way since joining TG. I remember when he joined and was saying the same things you guys are saying. After taking a break due to school and whatnot, I came back and played and had him as a SL and was amazed of how much he had progressed.
Stick with TG and you can be a love doctor like Zhohar!

The greatness comes fomr the experience and willingness to put your neck out. Watch and learn from the people that you admire, or respect. Do the same for those that you don't, so you can learn from thier mistakes also. Don't be afraid to SL, and knowing Zhohar, he will gladly be an Sm while you Sl so that he can help you. TRUE LEADERSJIP!

Don't forget folks, if you recognize someone's exceptional qualities as a player or community volunteer, you can nominate them for a ribbon!
They DO NOT have to be an IHS member OR a SM to receive their ribbon, although they do need to be registered on the forum here. Post a message HERE once you've read THIS on how to write a nomination!

Re: First post and props to Zhohar
Thank you all. I saw this last night but I was too choked up to write anything. I was grinning like a kid all day at the office today. Thank you.
I'm glad you enjoyed yourself in my squads, aust. It was a pleasure having you. Same goes for pred, henroast and Jimmy: Pecan Pie is best when shared.

Yesterday night, I was in Zhohar's squad, and one of his SM said the following on VOIP:
SM: Hey, SL, can you talk a bit faster? I felt from my chair and I could not stop laughing. ![]() Zhohar Squad = "Stakeholder Theory applied on Pecan Pie" ![]()

Re: First post and props to Zhohar
Well, I have to say that what I enjoy most about Zhohar is some of the phrases he uses. There have been two notable ones I've heard so far (these are not verbatim):
"The enemies in there are unhappy." and "Please make them (the enemies) dead." But phrases aside, it's been great working with the Love Doctor in his squads while I start to remember how to SL again (being out of it for over a month will do that to you) and start regaining my confidence SLing.
