Pumping up that teamwork score

Hey folks. Quick question that I hope this turns into a discussion on game teamwork in general:

I have bump coming at 55 teamwork points. I run around like there is no tomorrow reviving and healing (or resupply, as the case may be); I also follow and give orders as apropriate.

As I am not hip with the technical aspects of the game, I'm wondering from the experts what the best way to rack up teamwork points might be? Are there better maps than others to acomplish this?

I'm not really a stat fiend, but this one has sat out there for a while and I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever score a 55 TP.

Well if you want to get slightly shady there is random emping does the job (0.5 point per person hit).

If you can get yourself in a TG squad full of medics at a choke where rockets are a-flying just dump down a supply box every couple of minutes and watch the points roll in.

At a choke point run around with the medi-hub and defib out ignoring the enemy. Meh the second two are fine but the 1st as I said is shadyish.

Re: Pumping up that teamwork score

I find Camp G to be a good place for the Emp spam.....if you can call it that.

Not so much spamming as trying to get a squad "in" at toll station. Nothing worse for defenders than having no crosshairs and seeing their team show in red (not constant red but more like flashing on and off). Very easy to teamkill in this situation and a lot of times people will hold fire if unsure. 'Nades also become harder to spot when their screen is all fuzzy!

Just got to be careful not to hit your own people as they advance. Last thing you need is to lose those precious points!

Strangely enough I've never seen this tried on a TG server while I was on. Dunno if it is as effective as I think, but the points are nice and the intention is good.

Re: Pumping up that teamwork score

I have had 54 teamwork points like 5 times now... still cant get the 55.

A good way to do it is to be pilot of a transport that is wreaking havok.

BTW, a good idea before you start gaming the game just to get teamwork points is to take off your TG tag and go to some random pub.

Here's what you do. Go dedicated medic and concentrate on keeping people up.

Keep your eyes on the support folks around you. When one dies and you can't bring him back, grab his kit, throw down an ammo box near a natural bottleneck, and then grab your medic kit again.

Make sure your squad leader is keeping up with setting the attack and defend orders near your position.

All of these are within the spirit AND the rules of team play on our server. I guarantee your success and your team's happiness with you.

Re: Pumping up that teamwork score

One way if your really dead set on getting it is to jump on a snipe server. These servers only allow snipers and non-assault medics. Therefore, by playing as a medic, and keeping the other players up you are helping your team by keeping them alive and keeping the ticket count up which is helping your team in the long run, and at the same time you are racking up quite a few teamwork points which is helping you.

Oh, and you will get quite a few thankyous from those guys, they dont get many people who are willing to play as medics and just run around keeping the other guys up.

Re: Pumping up that teamwork score

I've done that many by being a medic for my team while assaulting a titan. In pretty much any situation, I just run around with the medic box out, if I see a group of people I throw it down next to them, if I see a body I shock it up with the defibrillator. You can get so many points this way, especially in Gibraltar in the early stages of the game when defending as EU, or when assaulting Toll Station as PAC.

Re: Pumping up that teamwork score

I got mine on a particularly Titan server.

-Run after silos like crazy.
-Take the support kit and resupply everyone you see.
-Pick up a recon kit and bomb some commander assets.
-Pick up the AA gun and score a couple of easy Titan gun kills.
-When the Titan shield fails, hop on and seek as many kills as you can.

Re: Pumping up that teamwork score

Find a 64 player server with less than 20 people in it. The round will last forever, giving you plenty of time to get the required number.

Welcome to TG Wineo!

Your gaming life will change forever.

While I agree with the all the tips and tricks suggested here, I have a question.

Why you care about teamwork points?

Join or create a squad on a TG server, enforce your squad's teamwork and communication elements and have fun.

Only this way you are going to earn more "teamwork points".

However, these "points" will not show up on the score table, but will be placed inside your mind and soul.

And that counts more!

Trust me, teamwork cannot be expressed with numbers.

This is why, when I SL, I keep my squad behind the flag at the back wall at Toll. Besides having engineers keeping the approaches mined, it lets me cut off at the pass anything trying to make it's way through.

I've seen some people try to toss EMPs in, but usually those people don't survive very long to keep doing it. The entire area in front of Toll makes for a good kill zone if you know what you're doing.

Re: Pumping up that teamwork score

Go support in a good squad, and run around with your ammo box , easy. Emp spam is very stats paddy imo , im not saying they arent usefull for locking down walkers and stuff like that but relentless spamming is a stupidly easy way to get points.
