There is no button for it is fine the way it is running now. There are some that may believe that the conquest server is what it is and that is just fine today, I personally am in that group. The admin team does change out the armor maps to keep them fresh but the infantry maps we all play all the time are what they are. When the 8th is craving something different like running in the gunships on a titan map, we go pubbing. Would it be great to be able to do that here at TG, sure but IMO going to a pub server and having a bit of fun there is a good time and keeps this game very fresh for me. We have tried to run "other" maps on the second server but it is never sustained. Sure it gets some attention for a few days but it just dies and everyone comes back to the conquest server where they are comfortable. I am all for trying something different but I believe we have proven the rotation as it stands today is accepted, successful and varied, I dont think we can ask for any more....

Northern Strike intrigues me. I've never played it on anything but a random pub, and I think part of the reason the #2 server is always empty is because everyone's always on #1 anyway.

How many people have NS vs. how many don't is a mystery to me, at any rate.

That's a great idea, Gloop! We should also include an "if you don't often command, sign up for commander" rule with that, though. People might realize it's not as scary as they think.

I like the main conquest server the way it is. But, honestly, I miss NS on TG. What if we did a sort of particolor fruitbasket turnover thing on the second server, with Titan and NS and some conquest all mixed together? Is there even a way to create a script that simulates someone pushing a random map button? That would be pretty cool.

Other than map rotation changes, the conquest server is fine. I would like to see small teams conquest (12v12 or less) on the second server, possibly some Clan Mod, and a smattering of Northern Strike. I'm not much of a titan fan.

I'm always a fan of armor maps (especially Tampa, were it not for the stability issues) and would love to see possibly one more armor map in the rotation. If the autobalance changes have stabilized the server enough to have more complex map rotations, maybe we could have an additional armor map every second rotation?

Also, would it be possible to have a weekly vote for the armor maps in the rotation?

I'd be interested in this idea, I'd like to be a SL in a squad that'll tear me a new one if I mess something up (in a constructive sort of way, of course!). I wanna learn to be a good SL/CO, but when I can get on the servers, it seems to be mostly pubs who don't always do exactly what I say.

Ah, but I also think Camp Gib is the most ridiculous, pathetic, overrated map in the game Doesn't mean I don't tolerate it when it comes up, as it's not like we play it 24/7 like some lousy servers do. Change is refreshing. Having a smattering to appeal to everyone most of the time is better than having a small sample just to appeal to some people all of the time.
