What do you want to see more of from TG's 2142 offerings?

I'm doing this poll (my first one ever) to gauge community feelings and reactions towards what else could likely be added or offered through the servers to keep things from feeling stale. If there is something on here that is not listed and is within the realm of reason, please comment to include it.

Admins are talking about creating a map rotation that would help you see more vehicle maps more often, without changing the ratio of infantry to vehicle maps. Hopefully this will help.

Make sure to let people know which server you'd like to make your changes on, and how you would go about making it work!

I'm not sure I follow on how that would work Gloop. Without changing the ratio of infantry to vehicle, there will always be the same number of infantry maps and the same number of vehicle maps we have now.

Thanks for the reminder: This would be focused on the primary Conquest server, unless someone specifies otherwise.

I don't play 2142 much, but if there were Titan rounds, you'd all be exposed to my extreme newbishness!

I would say, try out the changes on the second server to avoid losing players. But then again, if we don't try on the main....will the second get seeded. I would thinnk if there are enough people interested in different rotations, NS, and stuff like that...then w should be able to see the second one...... I am so confused....... Maybe run Titan for a few days on the second server and then change it up to NS.........

i had a lot of fun when we played NS 2 weeks ago. once we unlocked the server, it filled up quick and stayed full. I really don't understand why people didn't get the expansion. the maps that we played were very fun.

could we try leaving the 2nd server on ns?

i've only played 2 titan maps in the last month and didn't enjoy them much.

Perhaps second server NS by default, with maybe some titan thrown in?

*edit* I'm all for keeping plain 2142 on the main server. I like it just the way it is.

If nobody's using the second server anyway, though, i'd like to see at least some NS. Arithea had a good idea with a little NS/Titan/Conq random server.

From an administrative stand point, I would frown on any attempt to have Northern Strike added to the Conquest server for the simple reason that not everyone has it. Keep in mind that some folks can not install Northern Strike even if they wanted to as henroast pointed out while others won't have the money (it may be a measly $10 to you, but that may not be the case for everyone), and then there are those that refuse to purchase it for reasons all their own.

Yeah, EA has done a traditional mess-up with NS for some people, it downloads, installs, and then tells me I need to buy NS.

I voted "Other" in the poll.

How about a night where -

1 - Teams get randomized between each round, and

2 - No locking squads allowed, not even while inviting. You make a squad and whoever joins, that who's in it. You know, a Reader squad.

Great idea!

Maybe we could have a night where only people who don't SL normally lead squads. "Come learn to squad lead when everyone understands you're going to be a noob and is ready to help!"
