Ugh... Nothing gets me going more than this. And it doesn't just happen in armor. Take Cerbere Landing for instance, we're running up the West (left ) side of the map all sneaky like, nobody sees us and we're almost to comm center when on person decides to open fire (after being told to HOLD FIRE) and draws attention to your squad. Instead what could have been a silent cap of Command Center, we get in a fight and the dead guys start spawning up there reinforcing the flag. Like I said... Ugh!

Re: The n00b Maneuvers

I woke up and found myself chewing on my foot. I knew it was a bad omen.

Please understand I meant no harm and only laughs with the post. I don't expect even a group of beginner players to perform some of the more outlandish behavior (although some really surreal situations have occured on occasion here and there throughout my career)

Murphy's Combat Rule 102: There's not accounting for stupidity. People will do stupid and brainless when given the chance to do them.

I also love the people who press the resupply and medic buttons so their soldiers scream for attention while standing next to an engineer. On the other hand same said people don't drop a courteous hub.

The best is firing a pilum (or other weapon) from the edge of cover and ducking back into cover only to have a team member go to the same spot to fire. HELLO!

I started playing with the support kit and emp grenades first. Long before someone pointed out that they are worth points. Most of the time I'll get a kill or two off a grenade, sometimes three or more. However then there are the times the a squad plus ends up converging on my grenade like a soccer ball, earning me a squad plus of TK's and punish's. You don't end up with a negative score from EMPs.

Re: The n00b Maneuvers

If you get accidentally fragged by a friendly grenade, then you're down and there's nothing you can do about it. If you're accidentally EMP'ed, at least you still have a chance to fight and survive.
