I think tricks like this work all the time. Multiple times per round. This one was particularly clever and its presentation was dramatic. The principles he outlined are specific cases of good battlefield knowledge.

1. Squads bunch up.
2. Choke points make them bunch up more.
3. most squad members move as fast as they can
4. Dead squadmates act like attractor points for medics.

Each of the above bits of knowledge can be used to your tactical advantage (or used against you).

He set a wonderful trap and executed it to perfection. We often do similar things in combat.

You throw nades or rockets on dead bodies. You run around a corner then pop back out to get the guy chasing you by surprise. the list goes on and grows more complex when your opponent has more skill.

The problem is that the person killed can see which APM killed them. The way we tend to favor the assault class means that if I see a player I normally expect as a support or assault using a Lambert (one reason to look at the kill notices) I can expect APMs and RDX on the flag and react accordingly.

Damn fine video, though.

Yeah sc1ence, kind of figuring it would work. I haven't seen the ability to read player movements used in such a dramatic movie-esque way I guess. Gives me a lot of ideas, usually I just lob a nade on the body if i know medics are moving in. Or stick a rdx under it and then blow them away..if its one of those rare times where I'm playing recon.

Awesome video! I'm gonna have to try and copy that one. I don't know how you stayed alive for five minutes while defending Power Station though...

Fantastic video as always Lyra!

If anyone is worthy of using a Bond track in their vids its you, but did you really have to use the title music to what has to be the worst film ever (Living Daylights)?

Thank you for showing us that even though the game is getting older, there is always something new to learn and try.

Re: VIDEO: Tunis Harbour Mindgames

Nothing better then wiping out a squad from halfway across the map...and sending one of the bodies back to powers station

Eroak, you only mention that because of that poor soul who took your tankshell to the face at Hillside Farm in Verdun... and then landed up at Church.
