Hey guys,

There haven't been many ribbion award nominations as of late. We could blame the graphical system for being down, but that shouldn't deter us from giving awards to those who are due for them.

Think about it, If you recived a nomination and won the award. Wouldn't you still feel happy that you won it even if you can't display it right away? Well make someone else feel happy for being a part of TG and that someone else is noticing what they are doing out on the battlefield.

Try and focus on those newer to TG. Are they doing whats called upon on the battlefield? Level 1 awards don't require acts miracles or rambo like moves. Level 1 awards are for those to act like a team and demonstrate the activity almost all the time on the server. Kinda rolemodel like if you know what I mean.

It really is nice to nominate people for ribbons if they deserve them and it only takes a couple of minutes and the receipitent will be happy anyways

There have been a few TG vs TG srims lately. I'm sure those qualify for getting the TG vs TG Internal Campaign Ribbons. If any of the people who put them on have the names of those who participated. There are quite a few ribbons there waiting to be handed out.

if a player is nominated and or wins a ribbon will they be notified or do you have to check the forum everyday? not that i check it excessively or anything hoping and wishing to receive one from my play on the battlefield. i mean 3 or 5 times a day isnt excessive is it? LOL

I'll have to check to be sure but you should still recieve a pm when you recieve a ribbon. We're stll awarding ribbons through the intigrated system they just aren't being displayed. You will not be notified if/when you are nominated for a ribbon though. Only if it is awarded.

Edit: I was wrong the ribbons system is off completely. Once it is back on you will recieve a pm when awarded a ribbon. All winners are still posted in the appropriate thread in the
Tactical Gamer Awards Presentation .

No usually ribbons are awarded within a week or 2 of the nomination being posted. Looking out for the presentation is the only way you can see if your nomination passed. Some nominations may take longer if they do not recieve a certain number of votes needed for that title (Based on the number of admins for the title).

Please remember that all Battlefield admins can vote for all BFx titles. So while an admin for 2142 may no the nominee is worthy of a ribbon from personal experience a PR admin may not, and will base his decision for the nomination. With this in mind please try to be detailed in your nomination. View this post for details and example nominations.
