What is Clanmod?

Clanmod is a mod for BF2142. It limits player kits, removes vehicles, and requires flags to be captured in order. The action is fast, tight, and extremely intense. Cover is exponentially more important, grenades actually make a difference, snipers are actually useful, and support players are actually necessary. For those of you who have played in competition matches – the feeling is quite similar.

Is it messy? Will I have jump through hoops to play regular BF afterward? Will it modify my BF installation? Is it hard to install?

Not in the least

Clanmod installation is simple and it doesn’t modify your default BF2142 installation. You won’t lose any of your stats, unlocks or settings.
You start BF2142 with one icon, you start Clanmod with a different icon. While in Clanmod, your unlocks are limited – when you play regular Battlefield you will have your regular unlocks back. When you remove Clanmod, your BF2142 installation is still the same – you won’t lose any settings or stats.

This sounds cool but I’m new at all of this – is there someone I could ask questions?

Sure thing. Hop into the TS channel tonight at 9PM EST and we’ll be happy to guide you. Wednesday is Clanmod night on TG – there’ll be people in the BF2142 -> Clanmod subchannel who can help you get set up.

How do I install it?

1. Download the install program from here. (Official website.)
2. Install Clanmod.
3. Hop onto TS.
3. Join us for TG Clanmod night tonight – Wednesday 9PM EST!

What is the server information?

The easiest way to join the Clanmod server is to join on a TG buddy. The server will be called something like “[3.0]Clanmod …”

If you’d like to join by IP, click on Multiplayer -> Advanced -> Connect to IP.

Yeah clan mod is good fun( now you all know were my hatred of rockets comes from ) , but tbh i dont think you guys get the true clan mod experience ,the european players that regular clan mod are literally the best players in the world , some use macros/cheats some just damn good.

Some make me feel like such a noob as they own me hard , a lot of players in clan mod are in their national teams in the bf nations cup , in which uk lost by 3 tics to russia in the final btw,

anyway are non tg'ers welcome to these nights?

I can honestly say that as each week passes the mod gets better and better. My only regret last night was that I wasn't in the TS channel when that one round of Berlin went down to the last ticket, man was that a good fight!
