Not just a faint red dot, but also no beep upon passing over the dot. When I'm commanding, I focus on the main fighting area and just listen for a beeps. If I hear one then I find the dot, and spot it and call out to the closest/most able.

I think that a throw able device that stops all explosions in a raidus for a short time. Rockets, gernades, tank rounds walker round etc..
A more accurate Pilum, Engineer are not that powerful they have a nasty girl run where most of the action comes from and for vehicles they are likely to be insta killed. Pilum scatter is way to high. That or a true fire and forget anti-tank weapon. Or even a deployable anti tank weapon. Recon a single shell from an arty strike weapon, look out scope at cluster of men or tank and call for a single round strike. Assult is way way too powerful as it is a general unlock that would let anyone revive a fallen commarade even if they are limited to 50% when revived and you can only revive one person every 15-30 second. That way the field is open to some varation. in response Assult would need a nice unlock to make up for there loss of power. What would be nice is an assault item that can be held in the assults hand that give all allies in range a 20-30% boost in health when used for 1 min or so or one person at a time for a 50% increase and lasts 3-5 min or so. Support an anti-vehicle sentry gun that only does minal damage to infantry or an underbarrel EMP rocket launcher that would need to be fairly close to a vehicle to disable it but give support a stand off vehicle counter. |

Something similar to the JDAMs on PR, where a squad leader can call in a AI fighter to drop a large bomb (not a nuke) on a target area. Has a very long cool down time, possibly needs to be approved by commander.
Restrict number of snipers. Something like an EMP mine, but instead of disabling the vehicle completely for a few seconds, it disables all movement until a friendly engineer uses a repair-zapper on the tank. (weapons can still be aimed and used while vehicle is immobile) Something similar to the comms scrambler suggested earlier, but instead of messing up enemy comms, it lets the user (and maybe their whole squad) listen in on enemy comms within a certain area. Not aure if this would be best as a placeable object (like an IDS) or something that is 'attatched' to the user.

Listen people: snipers AREN'T problems (most of them anyway
) .If they limit snipers, I won't play it.In fact , I won't play it even if they limit ANY class. In BF2 medic is the most powerful class on INF only maps.G36e and he can heal/revive/short range kill/sniper range kill ! And they still haven't put a nerf on the G36e... So, they should definitely give something that lowers spotting, something more stealthy for recons (like maybe an improved ghost that has longer range, or a device that functions like a sticky CAMERA from Splinter Cell but without the gas )Engineers should get something vs infantry (like, an additional FRG-1 grenade), support HAS to get a mini-gun that's stationary only, and assault should get some more smoke (at least 100% more smoke), and general upgrades should be a) something like a field-kit in PRM, heals 10% of hp, and something for ammo maybe, but you can only have one of 2, not one of each. I TOTALLY agree on the "cloaked drone" thing, the only thing would be to make it a BEACON for fair play ![]()

I consider a class that is detrimental to team-based play, and only exists to give people the ability to make kills with little risk to be a problem class.
Frankly, I'd just remove sniper rifles altogether. I can't think of any FPS games that'd be hurt by no snipers. Hell, even TF2, the team with less snipers is probably going to win.

Never played HALO multi.I think my obsession of stealth starts from Metal Gear Solid stealth unlock
, going through Splinter Cell, Predator games, World of Warcraft rogues... and then coming to BF series.I often like to fortify a certain position while my team goes to take the flag (I'll rather cover my team than get 2 points), and pick off any flag defenders.It has proven to be quite effective, and I'm yet to see someone who can shoot me through the furthest limit of sniper scope range, with something that's NOT a sniper... Sure, a support behind a shield and with a HMG would also do nicely, but a well placed grenade solves that one... ![]() <<I'm also aware that a lot of people mis-use snipers/recons by NOT teamplaying, but my point is that a sniper/recon contributes to the team BY killing>> Thanks for reading through the whole post ![]()

This only works if the team is full of incompetent medics. The sniper makes you critical and does not kill, ready for a medic to revive you.

I have two suggested unlocks:
1. "PO-KN3-e Anti-Defib-Device Launcher" (Support Kit; in place of the IPS shield thingy) Support personel equiping this item (similar to the RDX launcher in size and shape) can launch a "smart EMP feedback device" at any injured enemy soldier. The device will activate when laying within 2~3 meters of a critically injured enemy soldier. If an enemy Medic attempts to defib his buddy once the Anti-Defib-Device is armed and within 2~3 meters, his defibulator will be grounded during discharge causing the Anti-Defib-Device to explode with a low-yield EMP burst that drains the Defibulator for 15~20 seconds (rendering it useless for a moment) and disorients the medic for no more than 2~3 seconds. Fireteams using these can assure that when they put a target down, it STAYS down. Medics encountering these will cuss, a lot. 2. "URX-288 Laser-Assisted-SAAW-Targeting System" (Recon Kit; in place of that useless stabililzer) Recon personel equiping this device can paint ground targets with a laser designator that any friendly engineer's SAAW projectile will home in on mercilessly, thus making the SAAW useful against ground targets at the cost of occupying two soldiers. Theoretically 24 SAAW rockets could hit a single target simultaneously on our Conquest server if you have a team that REALLY works together. I think I really like the first one, not sure about the second one.

Hmm, well it seems that the assault class is overused. I personally shoot bodies ONLY if my SL tells me to do it (allowing for crippling the enemy SMs), otherwise I go for headshots WITH stabilizer (which isn't useless, believe me)!It can confirm a headshot with deviation + movement.
*I'm not writing this as an attempt to brag, but to explain something + to give you guys some fun reading the post* Camp Gibraltar . Near central camp flag. Footsteps of my teammates echo on the metal floor as I adjust my scope one last time. Spotting multiple enemies, I prepare for the carnage. An enemy medic feels a tad awkward.He feels something tingling his stomach, before he realizes that his insides are spilled on the concrete - that's ANOTHER APM I left for the bastards. I take the easy body shots without compromising my position and let my teammates get the kills - I settle with a few kill assists. We defend the flag, and everybody wins, except the other team. ![]()
