The timer is not 30 seconds now, it has been increased by 30 seconds. In other words, the round start time has gone from 90 seconds to 120 seconds (for those of us that are mathematically challenged, it means the round start timer is now 2 minutes in duration).

this is a great change. it will partially remedy the problem with people waiting around for a certain squad, then joining squads at the last second and missing instructions (i have to admit i'm guilty of this)

is the no-squad kick still set to 90 seconds?

Good lord, Tunis or Berlin would have everyone out in seconds.

And Berlin's EU APC gunner would need to be on a thirty-second rotation. I'm too light for that kind of drinking.

And not even for the reasons you think -- the very first TG thread that I read on my brand new, shiny and polished, top-of-the-line PC is the one benefitting me most on my old PC. I had a good laugh at that.
Essentially, instead of a small increase, my planning time as an SL has doubled. This is a welcome change. A big thanks to sc1ence and the rest of the admins.

I'll post here once I get a chance to test this out. I'm still installing drivers.

90 seconds after the game starts, yes.
