Props to Dice and EA

Thank you Dice and thank you EA for bringing us, IMO, the best multilayer game ever. I have been playing this game since it came out and I have not had enough.

I hear whining all the time. EA sucks, they never fix bugs, etc. etc. Yeah the server crashes on a regular basis. Yes the game does not remember your kit. Yes someone loaded the PAC walker with blanks. Yes the Otus has very sharp edges.

But what game have you been playing longer than any other? What game continues to impress? In what game does the stock gun hold it's own against an unlock? And what game is coming out with free new content and bug fixes?

Last but not least, thank you TG for an extraordinary community of players. The game would not be 10% as fun without ponies.

Re: Props to Dice and EA

I imagine DICE and EA know this is an elephant in the room: 95% of forum post about those companies range from either scoffing sarcasm at ineptitude to all out inflamed assault against any business and software development skills -- but 95% of those people still play and enjoy the game.

If I had paid all things for their true worth and the enjoyment I've received from them -- Battlefield would be worth a much larger amount of money than I had paid for it.

I measure the value of a game by hours played vs money spent. I spend roughly 50 bucks on the game. I have played 535 hours of it so far. That is roughly 9 cents an hour. bargain!

Warts and all, every BF game has turned out to be a good value for me. Many people think COD4 is superior but I max ranked (no goofy prestige ranking for me, thank you) in COD4 and came directly back to 2142 and where I have ascended the ranks as far as I will ever go with my shiny star, but still enjoy playing the game.

Re: Props to Dice and EA

Tis true! The BF series is the best I've encountered in more than 10 years of being an avid gamer. I hope EA and DICE continue to bring us more with the same depth and awesomeness!

I also hope we can somehow drag the right kinds of EA and DICE staff here to see the type of community that has grown up around this amazing series of software titles.

Thanks DICE!

Thanks EA!

For all its error, faults and crashes it’s highly additive and fun.

Re: Props to Dice and EA

Its not perfect, but by far the most fun I've had in a multiplayer game.

Thanks, and can't wait to see what 1.50's all about!

Yup, 2142 is awesome. I've been getting a little bit burned out on it lately, so I'm taking a short break, but I know I'll come back to a great game.

You are soooo full of it! What is Anospa's catch phrase? "I hate this game..."
