*Edit*
I had a blast. Thank you to everyone that attended. It wasn't quite clanmod but it was close. Funny thing is, I think this might actually have been more fun
.
The format:- Two rounds of Camp Gibraltar (32p)
- Everyone was in one TeamSpeak channel throughout the game, which stayed fairly quiet actually. We did not split off into seperate channels. Being a fan of banter and smack talk, I liked this a lot better.
- Teams were decided (for the most part) by how people landed in the game. Autobalance was off, but the teams still stayed fairly even and in my opinion not lopsided
- Commanders where allowed, but only with UAV and supplies. For the future, I would like go with no COs and see how that plays out.
- restricted to level 2 unlocks, which actually seemed perfect to me, not too much, not too little.
- 2 minutes between rounds, no real break to avoid loosing players interest
- no armor, including no FAVs or rail guns. If you need the "E" key, it was off limits
Once again, thank you for playing and I hope you all enjoyed it enough to let us host another one like this!Last edited by Lorax74; 04-25-2008 at 11:53 PM.

Great games. I like the setup. Do it more often.

Now that was fun. Makes me glad I'm part of TG. The limited options were refreshing from the all-unlock extravaganza I'm used to. Can't wait for the next one.

It was fun. Snipers were effective - if you saw one at long range, you had to get cover!

Re: TG vs TG Scrim with a twist (Friday, 4/25 @ 9pm ET)
I liked it, though I still prefer Clan Mod to be honest...makes flanking more effective. It's nice that it's assessable to everyone without downloading it, I think going with no commanders the next time will be more to my liking.
I have mixed feelings on the shared TS, it's nice to banter back and forth, but to be honest there was many times when I was squad leading that I would have loved to be able to talk to the other squad leader instead of having to relay everything through the commander.

It was really fun. Sorry about the second round which I dropped half-way through and my internet went Kaboom in protest. Who won the second round?

Re: TG vs TG Scrim with a twist (Friday, 4/25 @ 9pm ET)
This was a blast and it gives those that have not played clanmod, an idea as to what it is like. Great fun, great playing, great laughs!
The best was(Lorax you shall not live this down) Lorax ordering S1 and S2 to join up at the north side of Toll. Which we did........................................then he dropped an orbital on us!

I couldn't stop laughing as he was constantly saying "SORRY GUYS"!
For those that where not there........we only had 2 squads! LMFAO!!!!

Re: TG vs TG Scrim with a twist (Friday, 4/25 @ 9pm ET)
To make matters worse, orbitals were NOT allowed at all. But in my defense, I hardly ever CO and I saw something pop up that asked me to accept of reject and I thought it was something from one of the SLs. Bottom line, don't let me CO in the future
