Sandbox mode?
Hey, i have a question for all you good people out there in the world (or the bad ones too i guess 0.o). Is there a sandbox or like a edit/mod file or what do u do to like make/create/modify a map for bf2142? i know for bf2 there was like a file you could download from the website or somthing. So does anyone know how to do that for bf2142 because i have some great ideas...

Re: Sandbox mode?
unfortunatley there is no Official bf2142 editors, however the editors from bf2 work. it can be a pain getting 2142 to show up in the editor because you have to change alot of the directory structure (its set up for bf2) but once that is completed, you can use any existing object, texture, model, sound, animation etc etc. creating new things requires a program like photoshop and a 3d modeling program like 3dstudiomax or maya and again more troubles with export/imports file structure. go to the Sir.Community and poke around and you will find everything you need.

Re: Sandbox mode?
Okay, another questions and i guess this is more towards the sir. community, but anyone can answer. Everytime i load up sandbox and try to play multiplayer, it doesn't let me. It lets me play on a local server or w/e like were u make it by urself. Is there a reason y? am i not hooked into .2 or w/e?

Re: Sandbox mode?
i dont think there is multiplayer support for sandbox mode. its more of a "what can i do" game mode as apposed to a real conquest mode. you may be able to play with friends via a Lan setup though, not sure, never had anyone to try it
