EA changed their minds, again

The Q&A about 1.50 has been changed, it now states that the beta will be out "in the near future"

EA is such a tease...

EA has nothing to do with this. They don't handle any post-production activities. It's actually DICE and they're working hard to get it out. The official answer straight from DICE: "Some crap broke." I love those guys.

I do have to give them credit they will at least admit what is going on. I also have to say that that, despite how depressing this is that line made me laugh...

Woohooo! The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the month difference there will most likely be between the PC and the Mac version. Well, that's alright. Two new maps should be awesome. And a vehicle-free Verdun is like a dream for me.

Wake island is classic DICE BF map. 1942, bf2 and now 2142. Heck its so classic that FH has made two version of it for the 1942 mod and for sure FH will remake it for fh2. We are even releasing a Wake island 1642 in our next release of our pirates mod.

Wake island 2142, man thats going to rock....OH YEA

hahaha, at least there sticking with 2142 this time and giving us free content to keep us happy. Free content (not $10 Expansion Packs) is enough for me to let them kick back and play some GTA4.

There not reaily giveing us free content the "free content" is made by 2142 players for 2142 players. They are distributeing it though.

The Sir. Community has a large enough distribution infrastructure that we could probably rival EA at this point. However, we cannot RANK the map by ourselves. That's where DICE comes in.
