TGU 2142 SL map course reminder
Reminder:
Saturday at 12:30 EST, TGU will be holding a course on map specific squad leading tactics. This course is for new and veteran squad leaders. It is intended as a group tactics discussion with participants sharing information as well as instructors.
Module Name:2142 conquest mode: Advanced map tactics
Topics Covered:
We will have a thorough going discussion of the tactics used by squad leaders on every 2142 conquest map we play. Roughly each week we will spend an hour and a half discussing and practicing effective tactics for a number of the maps we play. We will go through the maps in the following order:
Tunis
Camp Gib
cerbere
belgrade
berlin
verdun
sidi
suez
minsk
I suspect we will be able to go through 2 maps a week. When new maps come out with the upcoming 2142 1.5 patch we will cover those as well.
We will cover round start assaults and defenses as well as the assaults and defenses of important flags. Emphasis will be on map specific information rather than general approaches.
If you have not completed the 2142 TGU squad leading course you can still sign up. You will need permission of the instructor. Even if you have not taken the 2142 SL course this course is a good one to take.
The next 2142 SL course will be held during a weeknight soon.

Re: TGU 2142 SL map course reminder
We ended up covering tunis and berlin. I thought we had a great class where we all learned quite a bit.
The next map tactics session will be held in 2 weeks. Next week we will have another 2142 SL class.
