TGIPF: Thank goodness it's password Friday

That's right, this Friday night is password night. There will be NO GIMMICKS, just good old fashioned TG vs TG play.

So, what does that really mean? What's the catch? Is there a gimmick and you're just not tell us? No sprint maybe, or knives only, no squad leaders, what?

Actually, no. It means that we will putting a password on the server for one night. We will not be limiting unlocks, we will not be picking teams, but we will be having fun.

The password will be posted sometime this week, most likely on Friday morning, and the password will be implemented on the server in the early evening.

Who may join on password night?

Easy, anyone who agrees to abide by the TG rules. So, if you have a friend that you think would like TG and want to show them what TG players are really like without worrying about the asshats and smacktards, bring them along.

A few words of warning:

The admins will be much stricter on this night than on a typical night. By joining the server and knowing the password, you are acknowledging that you know the rules and will not break them. If you invite someone to join us, make sure they read our server rules and will abide by them.

A few words of advice:

If you don't have TeamSpeak or don't normally use it, please consider it. TeamSpeak adds a new level to TG gaming and it's great to be able to throw out the occasional smacktalk, but please, no conversations.

What is the password?

It's a closely guarded secret right now, but we'll let you in on it sometime Friday - promise.

One big question though, I'm still rather new around here, so for all the newbs like me, how does one enter in a server password?

If a server is password protected, you'll be prompted to enter it after you click to join the server. EA being the master at running servers that it is, you'll typically then have to click to join the server a second time, whereupon it should take you to the map-loading screen.
