I do what I can, and since it is like 100 to 1 against you over at the EA rant I think everyone at |TG| new and old should throw two cents in about how 'teamwork' is needed, and that people need to think outside the box, or rather outside the Titan in this case.

That and I have no real life right now thanks to school...

PS: My apologies about the weather report. I wasn't aware that EA / DICE only gave you guys a week to test and resolve issues.

Re: Beta thoughts

Wow, Wake rocks! Nice job sir. I like how you can blow up the titan and stuff. Btw, is that how you capture it? is to blow up the core or somthing? I never got that far into it last night.

Core never blows up. You can capture the flag but all it is, is a flag. Possibly it affects bleed more than other flags...

Well I base this information on the testing the Sir. Community did with us about a month ago.

Re: Beta thoughts

Please forgive me this is a repost from the EA forums (with a few minor spelling corrections). I was not involved in the closed |TG| beta so I understand the logic behind the map only from the outsider point of view. In short I was wondering what everyone at |TG| thought of these issues, versus the EA forums point of view.

First off please leave the EU titian shields OFF. I do however see (as a few have noted) the need for cover within the EU hanger. I would propose that some storage boxes or some crates be put in to add protection from spawn camping, yet not too many as to give immunity from outside forces. The transports should be able to land/shoot into the EU deck, but the defenders should also have one or two places to hide other then the trenches.

Secondly, playing on Wake today I noticed in the EU base there is a storage tank near the Walker spawn point that is VERY close to the outside wall. So close that I was unable to pass between the geometry of the two objects. I would request that the storage tank be pulled out from the wall a slight bit so that people could pass between them freely.

I'll be honest I haven't had a lot of time one Wake yet, but from what I have seen, it is a really fun map to squad up on.

A third issue I might put forth: did any one else notice the 'ramp' on the edge of the bridge between Checkpoint and Village?

I have to say overall well done Sir's well done

EDIT: New PICS!!

The geometry issue I noted:

Further evidence I shouldn't drive an FAV...
(Sorry not the best angle on that one...)

Re: Beta thoughts

That's actually a good idea; putting some more (or different) cover in the Titan. Every Titan is currently the same, it'd be fun to mix it up a bit with some boxes or crates.

Re: Beta thoughts

I absolutely love the two new maps. The hammer hit both nails square on the head

Yeah and it looks Sir Thinks so as well.

I'm pretty sure that somewhere in the hate fest that has taken over the EA forums Beta threads someone else suggested putting stuff as cover before me, if not I'll be more then happy to take credit for the idea
