Possible Commander Basic Times For Next Weekend

Could you please vote in the poll for as many option you could make if you are interested in attending the TGU module Commander Basic.

Feel free to elaborate on your option. Also bear in mind module will last approximately one hour. Your option will indicate the start time.

This module will be open to all but if there is too many people signed up priority will go to supporting members.

Re: Possible Commander Basic Times For Next Weekend

I really wish we'd stop catering to 'Eastern' time. For most normal people, it's a lot easier to show up later in the evening as opposed to earlier. On weekday events, earlier means you're conflicting with work times, which is unavoidable, whereas later you're just conflicting with someone's favorite TV show. Suffice it to say, in this case, 12 EST means 9AM PST. That's just insane.

For the weekday events, if everyone works a 9-5 job, starting anything at 6PM EST is going to leave out 3 timezones, which isn't fair. Starting at 6PST is still 9PM EST which is time enough for everyone.

Please remember that most of the United States DOESN'T live on the East Coast

The issue is with Europeans as they're +6 EST or more, so I can see why you'd like it earlier, but for the most part, most events around here are scheduled to 'optimum' east-cost times, which just hoses everyone else. That makes me sad

I'm not catering for anyone. I've covered all times over the weekend. I will run the module during the most voted for time. Whether it is East or West coast times doesn't particularly bother me to be honest, merely the most popular.

If I had my way I'd run the module at 7am EST but that isn't going to happen. I use EST because it is the standard TG time.

I know, as I pointed out, 'normal' times for me is around 2AM for you

Mot of the weekday events have a rough starting time of 9pm as it is. Weekend events are usually earlier in the day to accommodate our Euro brethren.

    That's still not 'most'

Besides, Floridians are just old people who can't use computers, so they don't count.

Anyway that's not the point, I was just making an observation. I voted for after 2 because it's just easiest. No way I'm getting out of bed at 9AM
