"For the love of god, balance the teams!"
Ok guys, I swear if I hear another person cry for team balance...I'm gonna ban someone!
Seriously though, we don't need people to ask for team balance every round. See what happens is people leave or switch teams. Long as the server isn't full, new people join very quickly on our high traffic server. This means as soon as your done typing "Please balance the teams" 4 people just joined and I'm getting head shotted as I'm trying to figure out why you just said there needs balance and teams are 23/22.
What I do want people to do is tell me when someone switches teams in the last minute of a match to the winning team. This is stat padding and will be delt with as any other stat padder would, ban. This isn't allowed by EA and wont be allowed by TG. Please report this! Also report to me if the server has 46-48 people and teams are off by more then 4 for more then 5 minutes OR if one teams wins by more then 100 tickets for 3 rounds in a row.
I know your all trying to do the best for the server, but 95% of the time it resolves itself within a minute. Thanks! The soldier formerly known as, Eroak.

Eroak all is good with the world.
I always join the winning team after a round, but that's because I figure they need some handicapping, no easier way than with the Catman

And PLEASE DO NOT SWITCH to the "loosing" team after one loss, give them a chance to redeem themselves before you come to their aid. Some of the best rounds come after a team has lost two or three rounds and then just clicked and the next few rounds were decided by single digit tickets. Of course if it's a blowout for three rounds in a row, that's another story and needs to be addressed as well, either by an admin balancing or randomizing the teams or by the players themselves.

With the massive dissconnects from EA right now it is easy for the teams to be a bit unballanced for a bit, as everyone has mentioned, give it a few and it will solve itself. If you feel bad that you are outnumbering the other team hang out on a flag and wait for fairer numbers before assaulting if you want rather than switching.

What about if you get disconnected, re-join, end up on the opposite team and then want to switch back to your original team to get back in your squad?

It's been a problem ever since AB was turned off on the server. The losers leave, and the winners hang on to their team and nobody switches over. End result: the following match is even more of a massacre.
I know AB makes the server prone to server crashes, but I'd be willing to give up a bit of stability for balance. Hell, even if the server does crash, it's got the advantage of shuffling the teams around into a new deal.GOD IS DEAD. THE N00BS TEAMKILLED HIM.

Last night we had an issue during the titan match, which cleared itself up within 5 minutes, we hung by a controlled silo and let the enemy be killed...I mean attack us...

Re: "For the love of god, balance the teams!"
Seriously whats wrong? I been playing very much the past few months from early morning to late night with everything in between. Since the server reset I might have had to force random 2 or 3 times tops. I have only asked people to switch teams once in TS since the server reset. I don't see these problems but it seems like your claiming that they happen to often.
Based on score and skill, heres the stats:
Pre-server reset I have to use team random once a night where I played 3+ hours.
Post-server reset I random teams once a month, maybe.
Now like I said in my first post, yes people leave and others switch teams. But as soon as they leave others rejoin. The problem isn't balance. It's the stat padding that off balances the teams. The people that leave because they lost are better off not here and allow room for someone that wants to be here. Take the admin's word for it, Shurikane. We see things on the backend and other private means that the memebrs don't. In reality, balance hasn't been this good since I been here for the first time. The soldier formerly known as, Eroak.

Re: "For the love of god, balance the teams!"
Simmilar to Eroak, I am seeing fairly good balance. But, I do sometimes see the dynamic that Shurikane is talking about too. That same dynamic used to be at work before we turned off AutoBalance. I don't think it is any worse than it was before we turned off AB.
I think TG players do a good job of balancing teams. The recent master server issues have lead to some imbalance with players dropping.

Re: "For the love of god, balance the teams!"
Eroak is right most problems with balance are usually self-resolved. And if i ever lost connection i try to go back to the team i was on and join the same squad

Autobalance had nothing to do with skill stack, it just evened the teams. Skill stack is a whole 'nother issue.
