Re: Team stacking and autobalance
A good squad leader can make the game fun for his squad members. It's definitely easier to do when the team is winning, but it's not impossible when the team is losing. I've lost plenty of rounds where my SMs have told me they've had fun.
Winning isn't the only way to have fun.Fight!

Re: Team stacking and autobalance
i think the team stacking on this server is probably the only problem you guys have here. it happens more often than it should so i think it should definitely be addressed with the IHSes and the more regular players on this server. we know who's good so if we see that there's a whole bunch of squads with the 3rd, 8th, 9th, and 55th all on 1 team, let's try to fix that.
it's usually very obvious when the teams are stacked, so let's do something about it.

Re: Team stacking and autobalance
So long as winning looks possible.
I'm certain we can all agree that the best loss is the "We lost but we gave 'em hell. Let's give it another go." kind of loss, while the "I have no clue what to do against them. This is hopeless." losses tend to make a bunch leave in frustration.

Re: Team stacking and autobalance
Maybe I haven't been playing absolutely terrible the last few days. I can blame it on team stacking! <3
I try to switch teams when one of the mass disconnects happen. I'm usually on the team thats getting romped when the stacking occurs :P

Re: Team stacking and autobalance
One thing that I have noticed is that the rounds won/lost don't always add up right. It seem to me it tracks EU wins versus PAC wins and since a lot of our rotations have us switching EU versus PAC each round then a score of 1 to 1 means that team A could have won twice.
Has any one else noticed this or am I missing something?

Huh, I never thought of it like that... it makes sense though. I wondered why the games won are almost ALWAYS damn near the same.

Re: Team stacking and autobalance
Kick the person with the highest score on the stacked team and make them join the other team? I am completely serious, by the way.
