Re: A Fundamental Question about TG Representation on other Servers
Raiding their server is a knee-jerk reaction: an eye for an eye won't solve anything. If we really stand for maturity and tactics, let's show them both. How about a mixed Moongamers vs TacticalGamer scrim?
We could set up a scrim and when they join our TS, quickly go over what TG stands for and what kind of conduct we look for in our members. In a mixed scrim, we could strive for TG squad leaders that show exactly what standard of gameplay we promote here.
And honestly, we haven't had a large-scale TG vs. XX scrim in a while -- this could be fun!Fight!

All in all, from what I see you acted quite well despite all the actions by others.
That said I have to ask; were you in as JimmyJammer or as one of your low rank profiles?

We might have to get the 55th to go raiding on Thursday...

Re: A Fundamental Question about TG Representation on other Servers
Zhohar, I know it'd be better if we scrimmed with them, but they might be more willing if there have been tensions between both of us. And we can raid while still abiding by what TG stands for.

Re: A Fundamental Question about TG Representation on other Servers
I was in as JJ and just to add spice to my life I went in as my wife "MissMary" and destroyed as much of everything as I could...untagged of course and then made a guest appearance as myself and did it again...MissMary is a gentle creature until her man is slighted...

Re: A Fundamental Question about TG Representation on other Servers
I'd like to echo Zho's post. Trying to get ourselves banned from a server, even by playing the TG way, is not the TG way. We don't force people to play with us, and they have the right to play on their server the way they want to just as we have (and enforce) the right to play on our server the way we want to.
I like to think of TG as a beacon of hope in an endless morass of "clans" and "leet dudes" that comprises most of the world of gaming. "Raiding" a server that has professed to not like the way we play seems like something far closer to what a "leet clan" would do than "The Premiere Online Community for Mature Gamers." That said, I fully support attempting to organize a scrim and showing them why we play the way we do.

My experience with moongamers is that their admins are children.

I've been on moongamers for a while before coming to TG and I remember how immature many are over there. I wanna raid!

Re: A Fundamental Question about TG Representation on other Servers
My experance with Moongamers is that they condone abusive play and exploits. I got into a disagreement with some of them that pod serfing to roof tops and other areas is exploiting they got very rude very fast. I was glad to see EA come out and say that they are exploits.

Re: A Fundamental Question about TG Representation on other Servers
you're not the only one who this has happened to Jimmy, it seems like every pub server I go to has someone who insists I hack. What I usually do is insist that I am not hacking but play this game with a very competitive group of friends. I've also suggested that the person who accuses me of hacking watch the battle recorder and follow my person. He should then be able to see what is really going on.
Just say the date and time and I'll be ready.----------------------------------------

Re: A Fundamental Question about TG Representation on other Servers
arranging a full us vs them scrim would be like mixing oil and water. theres no way they would stick to our rules for one round. no bunny hopping/ no camping/following orders/vehicle stealing etc etc i just dont think it would happen.
i went solo and i already have fraps vid of some guys desperate to get my [TG] tags from a moongamers server, desperate or foolish enough to run at me knife in hand from 15 to 20yards away with me starring dead at them.
even though i dont think they would play fair(according to our rules), i would still take on a TG vs them scrim anydayand your very flesh shall be a great poem

Re: A Fundamental Question about TG Representation on other Servers
I wouldn't mind stopping in to say "hello" from the 55th...I think the key mostly is that they probably wouldn't understand our methods or means until some of the people on their server see it for themselves....
I agree with Brit on this one...
""The Premiere Online Community for Mature Gamers." That said, I fully support attempting to organize a scrim and showing them why we play the way we do."Without darkness, how could we measure the light?
