A Fundamental Question about TG Representation on other Servers
I was playing on a server for quite a while last night that was not a TG server. I had on my |TG-55| tag and was playing clean and hard. I was in the top three on the leader board the whole time. I was called a hack and a cheat. I did not respond. I was then T-Bagged continuously by the other team after every kill. I did have mouthwash with me however. I did not respond. I basically played my game an did not speak using in game chat just VOIP to my mates. I was the asked to take off the tag. Still no response. Then big orange text demanding that I take it off. So here was my only text interaction, " I appreciate the opportunity to play on your server. It was a fine time, but I will not remove my tag as I am a member of the 55th ID of the Tactical Gamer Community. I am sorry but that is not an option. I shall now take my leave. Good night to all."
I was pissed that I could not stay and play. I was proud however that they seemed to fear the TG tag. As a relative newcomer should I have handled this differently? If so please enlighten me as to the proper way to handle such a situation...JJ

Never had someone want to have me remove my tag, thats new. The 3rd would go on pub raids now and then and usually cause servers to empty, or, in more fun cases, the other team would be stacked with their clan, making an impromptu scrim.
Some people don't understand the game well enough to see the difference between a good player and hack. Don't worry about it too much, people just like to complain.

I think you dealt with it very well. Honestly, it sounds like a very immature server, overall. I don't suppose you'd mind posting the server name so the rest of us can avoid it, would you?

As long as you adhere to the TG Code of Conduct, which it sounds like you did, you are fine. It is funny and somewhat of a compliment to see how often we get called hackers...
I would have stayed until they kicked or banned me.

I think that was very mature approach to it, you bit the bullet but atleast you have the greatest community behind your back!!
I think we should crash that server TG style!
I am going to miss clubbin baby seals with Crux, I remember all those revives that people said were hacking!

Wow. That's a new one, and you handled it very well. I've never been called a hack on BF2142, but on other games. See it as a compliment. I would also love to see the server name.

No really, this is disgraceful on how they treated you.
We need to get in there, and kick some butt, TG-style.
I'm not saying one pub raid, but a continual attack, having a few TGers on the server everyday. Would make them go crazy, or have to ban the whole TG tag. :P
What was the server's name?
