LOL this is a single shot recording of what happened other morning. Dunno why the battlecorder physics were so strange, always happens with gun server bc files. Would explain why the files they have are so small, can admins decide on battlecorder quality to limit size?Bf2142-TOOmuchMcLovin

Yes, there is an option to choose the level of detail for the Battle Recorder files. We have our servers set to record on setting 3 of 10. Anything lower and you get very jittery playback.

i think RDX whoring (the thing you did) is even worst then bunny hopping and grenade spamming
actualy on a scale from 1 to 100 i think
RDX spamming is 90,
grenade is 95 and
hopping is 40
honestly i think you are not doing your best if your tactic is to RDX spam the enemy.
but then again it was fun to watchBF2142, ikariam alpha, contact me if you want a tactical game

Truly, I would have taken him down. It's bad when a recon like that has a support and a couple of assault medics/rocketeers backing him up. I would blow his console with his own RDX if he were alone :P
Sure, you need a few bodies to get through the first couple of bombs, but after that you're golden! Bunny hopping is worst. Bunny hopping utilizes latency to your advantage so that you can kill the other player outside of the intended game mechanics. Grenades and RDX are utilized so that you can kill the other player within the intended game mechanics.
Personally, I hate RDX. I've played against bunny hoppers in shooters for years with quake and unreal. Or in tribes when they have a jetpack on top of it all... So that I can deal with. But it's about what the intention of the game mechanic is and appreciating that. It's more about a purist thing. Although I do understand your frustration with the emphasis being placed how it's placed. That is the reasoning. Or at least as I see it, anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

I hate RDX too. I think it is a cheap tactic that some guy without any honor uses. It is funny to watch it happen to others for a change.
