How many hours for...
How many hours roughly did it take for you to get general
If you've already played to 100,000 points it doesn't help me guess if i'm on track in my progression from NOOB to now lol

No I played maybe 30 hours on my brother char named Dynyss and after I understand the game better and found TG I create my own.

Shifty, you also can look your profil on www2142-stats.com/Shifty.P+stats.html which is much more explicite about your stats. By the way "Kills per min. 1.459" make you a real serial killer ! haha
But the most importantthing, in my mind, is about team playing and much more than overall stats. Like Zhohar for example, Toomuchmclovin or Science and many others TG players that are great team players, strategic which play the real game much more than just mass murdering contribute to make the game different from the others server. That's why we're all here !
Finally I invite evryone who did not look at th science squad leader post yet,to check it out!!
I'm serious, I'm about to tattoo TG on my chest !!

I started BF2142 when school started for me back near the beginning of September. I hit Brigadier General about a month after I started posting on TG. Which was in March. So.... 6 months for me.
I spent a good 2 months of that time not playing bf2142 at all, because I found the game boring. Then I found TG, and i've been playing daily ever since.

Heh, good question! I started playing at launch, mostly lonewolfed with my roommate, took a bit of a break, found TG, and then got it probably sometime around March/April 07.

My answer wouldn't count because I cheated; this is my second soldier and I did a lot of Commanding on TG.

Had the game for over year (playing since Feb. of last year), have been playing on and off, and have still got ages to go. Anyone discouraged by their low ranks, just look at me, you can't possible be worse

i've hit max rank in 3 mths, but i was gaming 6-12 hrs a day 7 days a week
but i must say i played on very big servers and i played SL and CO a lot, and that helped (usually it helps when u do your job and do not help so much when u are lousy)
as a player i am way worse then Kossst here (k/d ration .80)
i am also way more team oriented,
i do not use any auto-targets, and my game-equip sucks (normal microsoft mouse and kb)

first char (yes explains my k/d) started mid march, 1 more grade of rank to go, how higher ranks work neway? 2 hr per day average roughly :P
