I know this probably sounds really stupid, but

I can't swap from FAV driver to gunner when its parked and vacant

I thought about asking this on another forum to save face, but if I can't parade my stupidity for you guys that'll cut my posts by about 75%

Some keyboards have an F-lock on it. If it is turned off, you can't use the F keys.

The windows F1 and f2 etc keys do work, but maybe it's something else on your mac?

You could make sure they're still binded in options. It sounds like a strange problem all right.

If I call up an Otus recon drone it crashes the entire team. If I press alt (hide 3d map) it freezes my game temporarily. Welcome to EA's games.

To the op; did you try changing the hotkeys to something else like num* and num- for two seats and trying to find out if it's the F's or if it's your game being glitchy?

This happened to me the other night while playing and to make matters worse, I couldn't get out of the vehicle either. So, here I am squad leading, stuck in the passenger seat of an FAV and can't eject or change seats... lovely. It lasted for at least 30 seconds, and it was a LOOONG 30 seconds with many expletives.

created new character, so all settings are as default and still can't swap seat, and this is while parked at base, not upside down, jammed between 2 rocks and on fire

Sounds like a keyboard issue or something is messing with the F keys. What kind of operating system do you run?
