A few months back we ran a password night and added a little twist. We didn't let anyone know what that twist was and it turned out to be a rather fun evening of atypical TG BF2142 play. Well, I want to do it again with the same twist, so next Wednesday it is.

OK, some of you might be asking what the twist is. Well this time I won't let it drag out and I'll come right out and tell you. The twist is that we will be restricting the level of unlocks. Upon joining you won't have anything higher than level 2. Now before saying "that sucks" or "why the hell would we want to do that, I neeeed my rockets and IDS". Well, the truth is that you really don't need them to have fun playing 2142. Each kit has the essentials that you need to play each and every map (maybe not maps with many air assets, but the SAAW blows chunks now anyway). The only real difference is in how you approach the map and your objectives. You can't rely on rockets to deny someone access to a flag. You can't keep FAVs out of Toll Station with motion mines and you can't rely on the Clark RDX to decimate the other team.

I encourage everyone to give it a shot, you just might like it and want more!
