Couldn't agree more -- a little under 2 month ago I joined TG after being more than a little disheartened by play on PB.

Rather than finding an elitist attitude - in that newcomers were looked down on and players only played in their own tight knit squads.
I was helped out straight away - Augustus Gloop, daithi1, Superfast, Jakaleel and most recently Kossst making me feel accepted.
Between daithi1's mentoring & Superfast's squad leadership I now know what's acceptable and what's expected of me, and to be honest if I couldn't stick to what's required I shouldn't be here

Therefore, to me, in all likelyhood, the guy was attacking the flag, and there's no set rule that says I can't shoot someone who just spawned in if I'm attacking the flag. Just because he 'shot' you with the knife doesn't mean it's not allowed. Just because a knife, or a defib, is humiliating, doesn't mean someone can't use them as a weapon.

Either way, I refuse to believe he was actually spawncamping based on the fact that he used a knife.

From what I have seen, on maps like Cerbere Landing, and Camp G there are flags with only four or five active spawn points. Best example would be Church on Cerbere Landing.

That being the case it would be quite possible for a spawn camper to knife a person every ten to thirty seconds on a contested flag. Where in a 'normal' round you should only have two or three good chances, hiding at the spawn points like this could give you over 30 chances per round...

Speaking as someone who's been knifed a lot, you know what makes me sad? The flooding in the midwest. Especially those images of the pigs on that roof. Did you see that. Really sad.

If you got knifed as soon as you spawned, you were likely a victim of circumstance, ie: a guy was attacking, had to switch to his knife, and you were a target of opportunity at the time. Would you have felt better if he just shot you with a shotgun instead? Or is it because he got your dogtags that you're upset?

Your so full of it, I would love to post the video that I put in the 8th forum of what happened. Its nothing special, just uncut BR footage of the what happened. If it was anything other than me knifing you, and TG stance on publicly showing that, I would post it.

For the last time, this is not what happened. Reaper is just pissed because he lost his tags to Mach. It's not the first time he has cried over such things. He did the same when I got his tags and tea-bagged the crap out of his face. He can't handle it so he comes on the forums and cries about it.

Mach was running to the flag, Reaper spawned on said flag, Reaper saw Mach and fired at him, Mach knifes him and takes the flag. That's it. Nothing more. No one was camping and if you camp with a knife you are dumb and will die. Period.

I think everyone needs to chill out here. I honestly don't think Reaper's getting angry over being knifed, it happens to everyone. I can definitely agree with his sentiment of how things have been less than ideal on the servers lately.
