Northern strike unlocks
Quick question all. If you are at Brig. General and you have all the basic unlocks already. How do you get all of the NS unlocks? Do you have to strictly play NS servers and wait? Any help appreciated!

I'm in exactly that situation and I believe the answer is yes, you have to wait it out and play exclusively on NS servers to get the last remaining permanent unlocks!
Something we lack here at TG!
Bar the odd Phrosty Phriday which I usually can't attend!

The NS badges give give unlock credits... I'm still missing the roadkills with the hatchimoto, hachimon, the hover speeder thing.

The Hatchimo (SP?) and Goliath badges are probably the biggest pains in the ass to get, others include playtime in NS in general (the badges) and you can get three of those.
There's only around 4 NS unlocks i find use for, mainly the IDS, and the upgraded cloak. Others are just for fun like the Clark RDX, the Radar grenade, and the Shoes. The Recon decoy should be the least of your worries.Former Cutthroat, established Merc.

Yeah, the extra ammo is useful and so is the IDS. The new and improved beacon might be nifty if your whole squad is killed, since it removes a time penalty.

I still have to get some Hachi roadkills and one more goliath kill... I think that's it...
Roadkills are harder than they seem for me... I crash right into a guy and do nothing to him. I drive five feet past someone and smear them...

I played for around 3 months as Brig. General without getting any new unlocks. Someone mentioned I needed to be playing NS to gain access to remaining unlocks. Played one round of NS and got two unlocks. Woot! Then nothing, because no one plays NS. I guess i'll never know what it is like to have the decoy or a spawn beacon that brings my squad to the kill zone just a bit quicker! We need another NS night (or two or three) so I can get those unlocks.

Maybe host an NS event and announce on the main servers when it's starting. I logged in once and saw that the secondary server was empty so hopped on the main server. When I eventually got kicked for a supporting member I noticed that the NS server actually had alot of people, unfortunately, I realized the time and had to go. I would love to see NS on TG.
