    TG Second Server - Wintery Mix

    Hey guys! Lets get that server up and running. Even those of you who dont have NS, you can still help us who do by seeding it. Come people, give it a shot!

    I finally bothered with the reinstall of NS on my computer, and it works now. I ventured on it the other day, but nobody was really on.

    As much of a pain as it SEEMS, it didn't seem to me to be a big deal. Just a half hour to reinstall and patch.

    - Reinstall game
    - 1.25 Patch
    - Northern Strike package
    - 1.5 Patch
    - Have a nice day

    I also posted a solution guide for the unmodified content error(I mis typed the title and it says "unmodified contact error", oops. It's in the 2142 Support forum here. It's sticked.


    I like NS. It lets you get those fun unlocks and the maps are a blast.

    I uninstalled mine and reinstalled and it worked.

    It was changed over in response to the increased interest in Northern Strike and the requests to put some NS maps into the Conquest server's rotation. You guys asked, we answered and this weekend will be the perfect opportunity to put a rotation like this through its paces.

    Can we have just one day with NS mixed into the main server? No special rotation is going to make the second server popular, or as much fun as playing on the full main server.

    They will not put it on the first server because it puts off new people that don’t have NS but I think that if this server were consistently full they would increase it's size and decrease the main server.

    At one point we had two very successful 2142 servers. Try seeding the second server for a few nights and see if you can help restore it to what it once was.

    X, Bomber, Mech, and I were there earlier (might me missing someone.) It hovered around 5v5 but it was great! I have barely gotten an opportunity to play the Northern Strike maps, and playing them the TG way was even better.

    That 5v5 is brutal. The lack of manpower for the EU assaults makes it challenging.

    Today it was about 10v10 for quite a while. It was better than 5v5, but still kinda small.
