Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.
Zohar once knifed me while I was trying to break through on "camp g" later in the round I saw one guy running straight at one of our flags, figuring it was either an idiot or Zohar I sprang into action pulled my knife got one of his SMs who spawned in on him and knifed Zohar when he came around a corner.

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.
There was also a round on Belgrade that had Eroak in an APC just laying into our squad on Comm Tower. We put a pounding on that APC but couldn't quite bring it down as he retreated to safety near pond. One volley from the APC knocked out almost everyone in our squad and literally left me with around 5 health. I charged around the corner near ruins (as an engi) and sprinted after Eroak. We didn't hold Ruins or Pond and I started taking fire. Since my health was so low and I knew there was no way in hell that I was going to get anywhere near E so I took a knee, lined up a shot to where I thought he might go and let my pillum rip. My shot landed, I died and a second later I received a message that I had killed Eroak. We were both in TeamSpeak and I just waited for it...

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.
Nice, my best rev--- thank you that I ever gave some one was ednos and it wasn't in BF2142.
You see ednos posted this wonderful story that will touch you in places you never thought could be touched. Please see this story, if you haven't read it, you really should. Now some people are jealous and do not want to share this story with you. They will tell you all kinds of wild stories to keep you from reading it. YOU MUST READ IT!!!.
So anyways the COD4 guys had a nice little internal scrimmage a few (OK several) months back. There were several times when I was very tempted to gut ednos, but either he was on my team or it was just not practical to do during a scrimmage ( I really can't remember, I need to lay off the crack, that s*** really messes with your memory).
So after the match about 6-8 of us hang around after the scrimm to just piss around and kill each other. I see ednos and I proceeded to gun him down. I laughed and typed, "better nate than lever", which is a crucial turning point in the story mentioned above. It was my way of thanking him for his wonderful story that he had shared with me at TG. I can't remember if I ever got to knife him, but killing him was just as rewarding for me that day.
And PIGGY, that is not unsportsmanlike conduct, that is how we in the 8th "bless" our fallen enemies.A captain of the most awesome IHS ever and remember to burn before you pillage.

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.
One that comes to mind was playing cerbere and I kept getting killed by this one player throughout the round and it was really quite annoying, but I eventually got my own back when I managed to creep up behind him as he was rocketing from command center and slowly ease the knife in while whispering in his ear "I got your tags!...nah nah nah nah nah", ok that parts not true, but just as I knifed him and took his tags the round ended right then with me holding his tags and him with no time left to get his own back, that brought a smile to my face....

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.
Thats 3 stories where I end up dead. Pick on someone else!
But Lorax, what about that time you have me in the APC and yourself in the EU walker burning your last armor points away. Tilting, you fire off one last rocket mangaging somehow to hit my APC distorying it and you running away scott free giggling like school girls. Man I still remember that, I was so pissed. The soldier formerly known as, Eroak.

LOL! That was on the same map, same location except I came off Statue defense to chase you down I think. I was pumping the rockets one at a time and thought you had gotten away when that last rocket released just as the walker tipped. That was a great one too, thanks for reminding me
.

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.
My revenge is over a particular class of vehicle and all those that pilot them. After countless hours of being raped by gunships, learning to use the SAAW effectively was the sweetest revenge for me. Every groan uttered on TS brings sheer joy to my deranged gunship hating heart.

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.
In my time as a lone-wolf Zeller counter-sniper on public servers, I think my favorite bit of revenge was against a sniper on the enemy team. We fought many epic sniper duels over several rounds, each of us killing the other about the same number of times. Finally, I decided that I had had enough. I spawned in with RDX and the stabilizer instead of APMs. I soon found him, sniping people from a rooftop in Harbor. Taking the utmost care, over the course of five minutes, I managed to get across the rail tracks in front of Toll, and behind the west building. From there, I pistoled down two enemies that got in my way, knifed a third, then climbed up the ladder to the roof. I crouched over his APMs, crept up behind him, and planted my RDX, all five of it, in a semicircle behind him. Then I crept back, and shot him in the foot with my Zeller, switching to the detonator. He leaps up, turns around, suspecting its me. He sees me, and zooms in on my head... as I push the button. His corpse landed on the catwalks on the east side of toll...

To get revenge, that implies someone would had to get the better of me at some point. Can't recall that happening.

It could, he was on until after Port was over.

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.
Today, after several grueling defeats and KosssT killing me more than a dozen times, I got a lucky break. He was using the Rorch against our walker in Camp Gib and I didn't know it was him until I dispatched him with my knife.
