Well I hadn't been able to contribute much to my team except ticket losses for some reason that night so I decided to implement Catman's secret mission Bravo.

I come back Recon with a cloak, have to uncloak by the enemy APC, recloak and go back into enemy lines. There is no one around, I go to get out my RDX (because of course I was going to demo assets :| ) but I only brought my decoy. So I deploy it and go looking for the Eroak. Not wanting to violate any rules I find him with his body half stuck into a building and I start teabagging him. I laugh my ass off and when he stands up I start to run. I found out in teamspeak afterwards that apparently he was trying to knife me, but I was laughing to hard to hear the knife. I cloaked and tried to get away, I died miserably. My plan was actually not carried out, I was going to see if I could take down the commander assets with my knife, but I did not go back and try and I saved my team about three tickets by staying alive and sneaking behind enemy lines.

Reader is too modest a fella to post in this thread so I'll do it for him:

Last night on Verdun, Repaq and I harassed quite a few people. We mini-gunned them, we missiled their armor, we TV'd their physical person, we ran them over -- needless to say, quite a few people were not happy with us. Reader was one of those people -- I'll not brag but I remember killing him at least a couple of times.

So it happens that one time, as we leave the Titan, Repaq says:
"5 neutral, let's get down there."
And by down, he did mean down -- as in flying 20 feet above the silo.
    Repaq does a quick flyby.
    Me: "No armor on TV"
So he turns around, and hovers while moving slowly so that I could min-gun the infantry. I unloaded almost all of the minigun's heat bar and I finally killed Reader from splash damage.

And immediately afterward, we both die.

That reminds me of the aftermath of Suez Shockwave when we were preparing for the group picture, but mistakenly placed motion mines everywhere. The PAC gunship driver didn't like it:

"OK, am I cl-- wait, I told you not to put motion mines! Dammit! No! Noo! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

And there go a dozen soldiers looking at a gunship running away and being chased by a whole slew of mines...

    *BOOOOOOM!*

Anyway, on to the main story.

So I'm on this random server, and I've been doing my usual piece of work - that is, until my SL vanishes. Turns out he had gotten disconnected. I can't get any talk nor orders from the new SL, so I make a squad of my own and resume my stuff.

I'm podding around my own Titan when I hear the message that the enemy Titan's been destroyed. And as I lay my IDS on the floor, I find a red blip. Someone's in corridor 1.

I run in and stab him in the face.

It was my ex-squad leader, who had reconnected... on the enemy team.

Shachin's cries of desperation over TS were at least 80% of the funny. I wish someone could've recorded that.

I also want to know if he yelled anything when I delivered a pilum into his cockpit at silo 4.

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.

Tuesday night on Verdun Titan our squad was moving from one silo to another when another SM and I got couldn't keep up with the FAV in our APC. We were going down a road when we ran into Rage in an APC. Ours got destroyed, but the SM and I both lived.

I fired my Pilum at Rage

You were killed by [TG-8th] Rage4Order

I get revived and another Pilum into Rage's APC

You were killed by [TG-8th] Rage4Order

I get revived again and pull out a motion mine hoping to push him back a bit, I throw one mine out and he rushes us in the APC.

You were killed by [TG-8th] Rage4Order

    Seconds later...

    [TG-8th] Poncherello Motion mine [TG-8th] Rage4Order

    followed by...

    NOOOOOOOOO over TS

    Followed by...

"You were revived by Squad Mate medic sent to you by God to ruin Rage's day", and off to the Church silo we ran laughing at Rage all the way there.

Carebear. We were pushing up the west side of roadblock as PAC. One of my squadmates goes down from a zeller sniper at the tippy top of command center. While my squad mates revives him, i fire a Sudnik missile at the man and 5 seconds later i get a You Killed XXXX. That must of hurt.

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.

There have been times when I've been so aggravated by getting killed over and over and over by the same person on a map, that I've completely bagged "the mission" (of course, not on the TG server ;-) ) to hunt that person down to just at least kill them ONCE, just to make myself feel better! My favorite was I was playing against my brother a few months back, and was not seeing him anywhere, yet he probably killed me six or seven times, mostly by sniping my a#@. FINALLY, I end up finding him laying low on a hill top, I march to the top, pull my knife and end him! Very liberating I must say!

I wish I had a brother that played this. Even my sister would work. I miss out on so much fun.

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.

Right after I started playing 2142, EA had an unlock weekend where all unlocks were available. I started playing with all of my new toys, especially the motion mines. I was setting up defense at monorail on Belgrade to lock the enemy in their spawn when a buggy comes speeding down the hill at full speed right at me. I turned to run but knew I was a dead man. Then I heard the explosion and a burning FAV rolled past me, they must have died within inches of me.
