While we're on the subject of knifing, I would just like to say that victory has never tasted sweeter than after being RDX-ed, shotgunned, Voss-ed, and knifed countless times by that certain someone... Finally snagging those precious tags once in a totally fair one-on-one.

I went to sleep happy after that pub raid.

The last battle of Shockwave Payback will always have a special place in my heart.

Not because we won, in fact PAC lost, but because I was finally able to do something I have wanted to do for a very long, long time. I was finally able to put my knife in the back of a particular regular that we all know and love.

The map was Wake Island, we had just captured Central Dock and there was a lot of enemy contacts still fighting for the flag. I spawned in right on top where the gunship would normally be. I drop IDS and my mini map shows a red dot north west just on the other side of the roof. Clark out, I start to approach, slowly. Just on the edge of the roof crouched is an enemy solders with a Voss. Knowing my aim with the Clark, and the fact that at medium distance Voss wins, I start to work my way closer. That is when I see the name above the player.

A huge grin crosses my face as my heart rate doubles. There he sat, the person that has knifed me more times that I can remember (at least once that round even), and he has no idea that I was there. I pull my knife and creep in, swing, and hear that wonderful cry, and the ring of fresh tags.

I shoot my arms into the air screaming with joy. Then I immediately start spamming the print screen button. I huge smile on my face I just scream out with satisfaction. I had finally done it. After a few moments I compose myself and calmly say to my squad, "I don't care what happens the rest of the match, this was a good game."

True it was unranked so the tags will not be added to my profile or anything like that. But I don't care. I know I did it, so that is good enough for me. (The screen shots I have don't hurt either )
The best revenge was beating you guys after two "cap-outs".

The best revenge was knifing someone today who has constantly knifed me whenever I was a recon.
Whenever I killed him 4 times with a Zeller, he'd always find a way to run over and knife me when I was facing the other way. Once, I remember trying to kill him with a pistol while his squad looked on and most likely placed bets.
He was told that he should not kill, and he did not kill, until he got into the Army. Then he was told to kill, and he killed.

I got revenge on most of the enemy team on the TBG server yesterday.

So. We're facing the entire enemy team on their Titan because they were all too stupid to hold on to silos. Since we own the entire map, we go up and have some fun right at their doorstep.

Inside: 32 infantry units watching our every move and firing bullets everywhere.

And then I go: "I wonder if I could just... sneak past 'em."

I spawn recon, cloak, and sprint for the reactor room.

    Yep. Made it!!

Inside, I find three sentry guns and a single soldier.

I sliced his throat from behind, took down the sentries, and a friendly squad snuck in as well to help blow up the core.

    BAM!
GOD IS DEAD. THE N00BS TEAMKILLED HIM.

Re: A dish best served cold ... or between the shoulder blades.

About a month or two ago, probably on a Saturday I was playing with as a SM just trying to relax and have some fun. For about 4 or 5 maps in a row my side was getting destroyed while the taunting over teamspeak was beginning to get frustrating. It had gotten so bad there was a IHS (no need to name names) that were pretty much focused on getting tags.

Deciding I had enough I started a revenge squad and it's exactly what we got. The map was Cereber and we were on offense. I felt like Sergeant Elias in "Platoon" running around in a blood frenzy with a well oiled shotgunning feeling the power of righteousness flowing through me as I mowed the enemy down laughing all the way; my squad followed suit.

The taunting over teamspeak quickly stopped as we moved up to Roadblock, the enemy team seeming to be made of paper causing no more than a few steps of hesitation as we gave them hell. Rather than go for the cap out we waited patiently like lions in the savanna waiting for our prey to come into our sights. Those who only shortly ago had mercilessly brandished their knives were in a panicked fervor like sheep waiting to be picked off.

Finally when the dust settled and the match was won I muttered a, "Can I get a hell yeah" over teamspeak followed by stunned silence. The medals that my squad and I earned meant nothing compared to the euphoria of revenge that culminated our victory.

    It felt GOOD.

I don't use knives, every time I swing one I end up by stabbing myself (I stick to the Voss or Pilum) and when I exact revenge it's by railgun - if you're a sniper that's ticking me off, you better prey there isn't a railgun nearby
